1. O has her 4 month check up today.
2. And shots. C cried last time; I hope she doesn't cry again.
3. It's just O and I tonight since DS and C are going to a ballgame. I'm totally going to order in dinner.
4. I have a sleeping baby on me. I also have an itchy arm. Itchy arm is under said baby so it remains itchy.
5. I have a friend who lives within 30 minutes of our house who hasn't met O yet and not for lack of trying on my part; is that weird?
6. I want to read a book again but I feel like I'm lacking the brain capacity to follow one these days. Any recommendations on a book of short stories?
7. I've never had Chipotle. Is that a sin?
8. I'm worried about Donald Trump winning, we have a great thing happening with the #TruBama bromance and I don't want Trump to ruin in it; a crappy neighbour can really impact the whole neighbourhood.
I just shared this with my BMB. I will xpost it here.
Not sure if I should be embarrassed or proud. Either way, here it is.
Today, I dedicate my 10 things to my love affair with Starbucks.
1. You greet me every morning and fill my soul. You make me feel complete. You get the blood pumping through my veins like no other.
2. You are everywhere I need you to be. On the corner of a street, in my favorite place to shop, in my home. You even allow me to drive up to you!
3. You offer yourself in so many ways, you meet all of my needs.
4. On a hot summers' morning, your Cold Brew Iced Coffee is like velvet in my mouth.
5. On a day where I am running late, I can order ahead and get the Iced Americano pick-me-up I so desperately need.
6. During the blustery, snowy mornings in the winter, your Blonde Roast warms me through.
7. Even when I am with child, your Shaken Green Tea is there for me to get me through the long days.
8. When I think I know all that you have to offer me, you surprise me with unknown (to me) choices, like the Starbucks Double Shot.
9. As if giving me all of the liquid choices isn't enough, on those days where I need a break from routine, your breakfast sandwiches are there for me.
10. You give me stars everytime I visit you. Let's be honest though, the real star in this equation is you. The sight of that green straw gives me butterflies.
1. I have an interview for a job today. I'm nervous as this is a step up from my current position. I'm usually confident in interviews but I haven't done one for a job that might be a stretch for me. Fingers crossed.
2. Baby #2 is due in 2.5 weeks and we still have no plan for O while we are at the hospital.
3. I washed the newborn diapers last night. So tiny! We also don't have enough changes because I'm not doing laundry every day again. Will have to buy more diapers...oh darn :-)
4. I think we are actually going to a movie Friday night. It might be a sh*t show for the sitter at bed time. Last weekend bed time was a disaster with my sister but O was also sick. Hoping it goes well. I know M is really trying to do this for me. I can count on one hand the number of times we have been out without O in the past 2 years.
5. I'm on day #7 of 12 straight of working. I have nooooo motivation.
6. I probably should wash the newborn clothes too huh? I was hoping to wait till the dresser came but we ordered it so late, it may not be here before baby comes.
7. We finally got some rain yesterday. I think I might actually need to cut the grass now.
8. The dog ripped his dew claw last weekend. The end was still hanging off but I think it fell off last night. Kinda gross but I think it looks better with it off.
9. I cleaned out O's toys and I feel so much better about it. We have a small house with really only one living space. It will get cluttered again with baby stuff soon enough. We discouraged people from buying toys for her bday but still got some new stuff.
10. I finished the modifications to the IKEA kitchen. We are waiting for the paint to fully dry and the play food to arrive before we show it to O. I also made her a couple capes last weekend. They turned out well I think but she doesn't really care about them. I was really trying to make a plan for making them as gifts for people we know with kids. I got the apron fabric cut but still have to sew it together. I think O will like that better and I put a hook on the kitchen so she can hang it there :-)
1. The movers are coming tomorrow. We have so much little stuff to do before then. Like take off the furniture straps, clean the house, pack stuff for the next 2 days.
2. We are still awaiting to official green light that everything is set to close on Thursday for both properties.
3. Last week I started a new work schedule and it's not too bad at the moment. I work Mon and Tues 8-5 and every other Saturday 8-5. I still work the same # of hours each month but less time commuting.
4. My posture has improved tremendously in the last few months. I've been working hard at it.
5. Liney cub now says, No,No,No,No. IT've very cute.
6. My wife took the sweetest picture of the boys the other day in their matching pj's and each riding their push cars around the house. I love that they are close and age and brothers'.
7. My neighbor is a FTM and has a 2 month old. She's struggling with motherhood and I feel for her. There's no way to prepare yourself for having your whole world tipped upside down.
8. I missed Elizabeth Warrens and Michelle's speech last night:( I hope to catch them online.
9. My sister is in Poland for 2 weeks. I have no desire to visit Poland.
10. Soaking up the last 2 days of central air. Thursday I start roughing it with window AC units.
ETA: Full of spelling and grammar mistakes. DGAF to correct.

4. I think our dog is done with camping too.. She goes for like 6 walks a day and can't rest when we are outside, always on high alert. She passes out as soon as we go inside for the night.
5. My dog last night...

7. Being in a city again causes me to spend lots of money...
8. We mounted the TV on the wall in the trailer and I had to make 3 trips to Home Depot. I was ready to kill... 30 min drive each time. One reason I enjoy living in a smaller city.

10. I don't have much either.. It's 9:15 and I'm still in bed.. Should get up and take the pup for her morning walk.
1. LOVED the DNC speeches last night. THAT is the America I want to live in.
2. I bought Halo Top ice cream last night. Tried the mint chip. It tastes good, but has a weird texture - like ice cream that melted and refroze. I also got the chocolate. Will try tonight.
3. I love Chipotle. There is one across the street from my house and it is dangerous. Yes, we should have a whole thread on Chipotle.
4. I really really really want to be working from home today. The things I need to do, I could be doing from a laptop on my bed in my pjs.
5. I need more work shirts. Pronto.
6. I have been stopping and getting iced tea from Starbucks multiple times a week. I need to stop that. $$$
7. I have been doing a great job of not buying lunch at work, but need to buy. Nothing in the house - even though I spent $120 at the grocery store last night (dinner for the next few nights, tons of great produce, stuff for the kids' lunches, and $11 on Halo Top ice cream. :
8. UGH. My dad just called and invited himself for Christmas again. He was here last year and it was a bit of a disaster. L is not going to be pleased as she kind of relented last year and made it clear that she didn't want this to be an annual thing. This is when being an only child and my father's only living relative sucks.
9. #8 is going to cause me to stress for the next 6 months. $hit.
10. My dad said that L didn't seem like she wanted him there. She didn't. She can't stand him and doesn't hide it too well. UGH.
So much good stuff going on in here today. Kristykristyleelee, your list to Starbucks made my day!

Lots of pregnancy/baby action today, so feel free to move along if that isn't your scene!
1. Long story short (longer version on the pregnancy page): I am now being carefully watched for additional signs of preeclampsia. My doctor is peering at me like I'm a total medical mystery, and is (as far as I can tell) just waiting for the slightest clue that it's time to induce. So we are frantically trying to get stuff done around the house, because we could have an outside baby a little sooner than we thought!
2. OB says that this can go three ways: 1) I develop symptoms and they induce in the next week and a half, 2) I go into labor or 3) I hit 39 weeks and they induce me.
3. They even did a quick unscheduled US today to look for problems with baby growth. He's apparently well positioned for labor now, and little but right on track with his previous growth scans: 6lbs 3oz was the guess, putting him at the 25th %ile.
4. All of which means I am definitely not going to make it back to work when the school year starts. Also, my OB told me to go home and rest. Which I suddenly don't want to do. I want to do stuff. I figure I get to do one thing out of the house each day: go tutor tomorrow, get a haircut Thursday, and tutor again on Friday if my doctors appointment goes okay that morning.
5. Somebody help me, it's 11 o clock at night and I'm doing paperwork for an IEP that isn't due until early October?! I just want to make sure it's not a huge project for this brand new mama when she goes back to work. Nor do I want it to fall on somebody else's shoulders.
6. My abdomen started hurting today. It doesn't feel like cramps, but it hurts and makes me hunch over until I sit down. Then it gets better. Am I just so pregnant now that my belly muscles/ligaments are done with me?
7. I'm officially obsessing a little over Jamberry nail wraps, probably to keep my mind from going too nuts with all the baby stuff. Anybody else have a fondness for them?
8. Chipotle for lunch tomorrow, obviously.
9. Pokemon Go is great except that I've been so inactive, my eggs aren't hatching and I never go anywhere with Poke Stops, so we have to walk over to the hospital every other night (VERY SLOWLY) to get me more Poke Balls.
10. Ugh. The to-do list is long. I'm too busy getting ready to have a baby to actually have the baby.

1. It's Wednesday. 2. Is did well with her 2 month check up/vaccinations. Some cuddles and then she slept on the way home. 3. She's napping on me but I'm contemplating a transfer to the bassinet, all I've eaten all day is a granola bar. 4. I'm very grateful for this moment. 5. I predict esquette is going to go into labour very soon! That energy could be a sign! 6. If I could have one superpower right now it would be to telekenetically move food from the fridge to my stomach. 7. Who am I kidding, there's no food in there, I need to get groceries. 8. Going to attempt the transfer...
