Not worrying about weight here either. I'm fact I'm desperately trying to hang on to these last couple pounds so my supply doesn't tank. Which is obnoxious because I have over supply at the moment but I'm still paranoid of it swinging to the other direction like it did with DD.
Me too (well not the oversupply part). I had such a hard time maintaining my supply and lost too much weight when I went back to work last time. This time I'm okay with hanging on to a few extra pounds until I see how my supply does when I'm back at work. DD is most likely our last baby so I'll worry about it after I wean if I need to.
I guess I'm the odd ball. I would use it for one of the regular bottles and freeze the BM he would have gotten otherwise. That's what we'll be doing with all of the samples of formula we were sent. If I had done that with A we would have had enough BM in the freezer to make it without having to buy formula.

I really hate using my electric pump. It gives me chills when I use it and it's just uncomfortable. I can't wait for multiple pump sessions a day starting next week...
At this point teraiin I think I would tell her that neither of you are interested in being in the wedding party as you needed time to figure out a plan with LO and you can't do that if they keep changing their minds.
I think I am the only one not interested in losing weight right now, even though I really want to do so. I am afraid of tanking my supply and I just can't afford to do that.

My pumping output fluctuates widely! Like by 5oz or more and I can't figure out what may be causing it. Drives me mad! Lol Also I'm irrationally mad at MH because he's sleeping on the couch while I'm stuck sitting straight up awake so I can finish pumping. Yay hormones.

Went to the dentist earlier today to get a couple cavities filled. Got to watch 45 minutes of "The Neighbors " (Seth Rogen) during the procedure. Love that movie!
My mom stayed with L while I went to my appointment. She's been fussy on and off all day! Strange because she got her shots on Mon...and yesterday she seemed completely back to normal. Today is a different story though. I think I have to ditch the nursery transition for tonight at least and have her sleep with us. My poor baby

It's 1:42 am and LO has been dead asleep since 7. Sometimes she wakes up an hour after being out to bed needing to be put back down and that didn't even happen. SHOCKED I woke up with a rock hard engorged boob and had to pump. Curious to see when she sleeps ubtilZ daycare must have wore her out today

babycaps, it's a Medela PISA. It was the same way with DD. If I could use my manual pump all the time, I would but that's not very efficient for work.
I had the same with the PISA. I loathe that thing. Can you try a different brand?
I tried to talk my insurance into not getting PISA and putting their cost towards getting a Spectra. It didn't work. Not sure if I hate it enough to shell out cash for a new one when I have a brand new pump though. I wish I could find someone around me who had one used but everyone I know has Medela.

Oh that's a bummer! I had the same reaction to the Medela. I think from how hard it tugs. I have the spectra now and it doesn't do that at all. You can sometimes find good deals on them on Amazon.

I recently got a spectra and it was well worth the costs, I'm pumping more milk and it's more comfortable. I only wish I had gotten the S1instead of the s2 so I could pump in the car

There are Spectra pumps on Groupon that seem to have a good discount.
There are also generic parts on Amazon that work with the Spectra that are a lot cheaper! I needed a different size attachment and ordered those (Maymom I believe) and they work well.
