Congrats, pbandj714! How are you doing with newborns? Give me some words of wisdom....
Thank you! Ha, it depends on when you ask me. Times like right now (G asleep in my arms and L asleep in the bouncer) I feel pretty good. Other times when they're both inconsolable and I'm breaking down in tears, I feel like a failure. But it's all so worth it!
pbandj714 Lower your standards of good parenting. Alive and healthy (or at least as far as you have any influence since some illnesses you can't prevent)? Good. Crying is inevitable.

Babies are in Nicu, baby girls heart alarm went off yesterday so they are there for at least a week. They have to have a whole week without a alarm. i just want to bring them home. But at the same time I know they are well taken care of where they are!

I'm being more conservative these days about posting pics publicly online. If we're not already IG friends and you would like to connect there, shoot me a PM! Lots of twinny adorableness

Thanks for all your thoughts ladies. Inam doing well and baby boy is also doing well. He is a super eater and eats at least 60 ml pro feed. Baby girl is also doing ok. But she has to stay longer. Her heart alarm keeps going off which adds a day to her stay. She has to have a week without a alarm. So please cross your fingers for me that she doesn't get any more! I wpuld love to take both babies home at the same time, but it is not looking like that will happen. The nicu is so full, that they may say he has to come home. Anyway time will tell!

It goes off when her heart rate goes under 70 for a certain amount of time. When it stays under for too long then thats when the problem comes. It is all about how long it is under 70. Apparently it doesn't mean there is a problem with her heart and it happens to the early ones sometimes. In fact I am trying to see it as a good thing, if she was born 2days later she wouldn't even get monitoring. And who knows what could happen. One time tuesday night the nurse had to play with her foot to get her rate back up. But that hasn't happened again as far as I know. Its just her little body still has to learn about life on the outside.

Oh hollyberry congratulations, they are beautiful! And dude. Get some sleep while they're in the NICU. I'm sure everyone is telling you that and you're fighting to spend every second with them, but for real rest up mama!
