I'm game. I'm going to do 30 days of yoga(I have some prenatal yoga). With work starting back up I'm going to need something to help my sanity. Hopefully it will help with some of the aches I've been feeling.

@kc295905, I am here to support you and cheer. I go to the gym like three days a week...but this actually makes me ache and feel like I want to pass out. LMAO. YOU CAN DO IT THOUGH!!
Yes! I don't know if I can do 30 days of one thing straight, but I definitely would like to do 30 days of exercise. I packed my running clothes and plan on going to the gym during my lunch every day this week
I'm not really up for the challenge, but it is good encouragement to keep going! I really should just add in a few squats or whatever on the days I'm not doing any strength training.
Question for you - is anyone doing any core exercises? I've looked online and the 2nd/3rd tri options either seem too complex or just don't really seem to actually work my core. I'm still doing crunches on the ball, just moderated a bit. And I started doing pelvic tilts, but again, they don't seem to do much.

Winnifred , So I do pelvic thrusts, you know the bossu ball under your feet and lift the butt in the air. Then I do it with separate legs. You tried some prenatal yoga..most of that seems to help me with core. I do a lot of running that helps me too.

@kc295905, so impressive! I'm not a 30 day challenge person either, but have committed to working out three times a week for the next month (have been doing that for about a month now): two barre classes and a swim class. I tried a prenatal yoga class near my apartment on Sunday and it was okay, but not worth the time suck (walking there, setting up, taking class, putting props away and walking back was like 1.75 hrs total). Did I peep that someone is doing prenatal yoga with Adriene? Is that good?
legalbeagle, I'm doing the Yoga with Adrienne. It's 3 workouts, one per trimester. I like it. The 2nd trimester one is her talking over her friend Hilah(sp?) doing the moves. It's a decent length and just enough to get me up and moving without overdoing it. It does cost $27 though through her website.
@kc295905, you encouraged me to sneak a quickie workout in after our walk last night, so thank you! I don't know why I've never just added in some lunges/squats/pushups/core work before hopping in the shower, so much easier than dedicating a workout specifically to strength training (which I rarely get myself to do more than once per week!). Good luck with the challenge!
I'm also on board for working out three times a week. I went to barre today, and I'm going again on Thursday. Hopefully I'll add another in this weekend.

Always wanted to try barre but there aren't classes around here, and I don't think my form would be good enough to do it at home
For me, it was definitely helpful to go to some in-studio classes for the first month or so, just so I got the terminology, form, etc. If you're comfortable with yoga or pilates, you'd probably be able to catch on just fine though! I go to barre3, and they have some free videos online that you could check out, just to get a feel for it. Sometimes it's hard to know what the pregnancy modifications are, and not all instructors are great about that. Most of what I've learned is no-brainer stuff like don't do crunches and stay off you're back if you're too far along.
I have another barre class today. Tuesday was tough, but I made it through. And then at the end, a little old lady told me I looked great, which totally made my day. I love nice, old people, and I'm finally getting to the point where people can actually tell it's more than just a taco belly.
