Morning ladies. DH and I had a date night last night for the first time since the beginning of June. It was really nice. We went out to an amazing Italian restaurant and then went to Disneyland for Dole Whip and to watch the fireworks. We asked if we could just take a picture of one of the blue mouse ear balloons, and explained that we had just found out we were having a boy. They were so nice. They gave us the balloon to keep, which is awesome, since DD will love playing with it and there is no way we would ever buy her one since it is $12 per balloon.
Ahhh I was thinking it was you. How far did you get? Did you like it?
I watched the first episode and wasn't blown away, but I assume they were just laying the groundwork and developing characters. I'm gonna give it until episode 3. Does it start to get more interesting?
I was blown away by the first so maybe it won't be your thing... It reminds me of old twin peaks episodes.

Happy birthday mrsmonogrammed!Good luck with the Whole 30!
@scoop I love when the first is a Monday. I figured it was just me.
Today I start packing. We unexpectedly are being moved back to Texas and it's happening super fast. I've got 10.5 days to pack the house, all while chasing around the little lady.

Nothing much going on here today. A's heading down for a nap. I'm so glad I prepped all that food this weekend since he's decided to refuse all food except Cheerios and goldfish now.....oh well.
I finally got the wooden stair gates built and the damn wall is crooked so I'm having to rig it. Maybe I'll be able to get it finished during his nap.
jessila I give A a small dose of children's Zyrtec when he's very stuffy from a cold. It allows him to breathe and get some sleep at night.

Man, I work with a bunch of nerds. Someone was telling us there were donuts in the break room: "There are some thermally-stabilized agglomerations of sweet, short-chain, soluble carbohydrates-coated graminaceous food-stuffs in the lunch room."
Impatiently waiting for my Harry Potter book to be delivered. Other than that relaxing while C naps. Yesterday was spent cutting down 4 trees and then hauling all the branches to the back to be burned. 6 hours of hauling branches and chasing after C.
stcyct, I would be so sad if my Target cafe turned into a Starbucks. It's my go-to place for getting Pizza Hut breadsticks. Luckily, both of my closest Targets have both Starbucks AND a cafe.
I have a workshop all day every day this week. This one is math related so at least it's fun (to me anyway.)
