Morning! Back from vacation, back to reality. DD loved the beach SO much. She just ran around squealing the whole time. I have jury duty this week, so I can't really make any fun plans in case I'm summoned (it's a day-by-day thing here). I don't have to report today, so we'll be doing some desperately needed grocery shopping. Have a great Monday!
I have the week off!!! I plan to run errands today and get things done around the house that have been neglected the past few months. I was catching up on a few threads on here.....congrats to the pregnant mamas!! I'm so happy for y'all...eek! Also, I can't believe how toddler like all the babies have gotten.
J woke up crawled on top of me and passed back out. I'm happy she's sleeping, but I'm pretty uncomfortable right now. We all have dental cleanings today, so that's fun *eye roll*
On a happy note J learned feet now! If we ask where hers are she sticks one out with pointed toes. If we ask where ours are, she stomps on them. It's very cute:) I love how much she is learning everyday!
Happy Monday! We have our hike with hike it baby this morning (since it's finally not oppressively hot!) and then we need to get some fruit and more ritz bits. It's our third box in two weeks, oops.
Morning! Back to work after a busy weekend. We officially move out of our house in 10 days and I'm getting all kinds of emotional about it. I'm also alternating between being really happy about how far along we are in the packing/getting ready to move process, and completely freaked out about how much there is to do in less than two weeks.

Good Morning!
Back from our long weekend family getaway. Luckily, M took a long nap both there and back, so the car ride was pretty painless. Sleeping there, however, was a whole other story and we coslept for the first time ever. He always refused to sleep in our bed at home, which is ironic. He was so happy to be in between H and I when he woke up and started poking me in the mouth to wake up with all smiles when I tried to pretend to still be asleep.
We took a day trip to Massuchesetts which was fun and went to the lake- and lots of BBQing. Definitely happy to be home though.

It's my birthday! Packed the baby up and sent her off to my grandparents house and I'm lounging before going grocery shopping and for a pedicure. Today also starts the first day of Whole30 for H and I- wish us luck!
Really anxious about something that hit the fan at work at the end of last week. I need to somehow get it out of my head enough to focus on everything else I should be focusing on.
I never thought I would say this but I thing H and I have officially started the Pokémon Go exercise plan, as in walk around all over the place until your legs feel like they are going to fall off. There is the perfect place to go near our house with lots of Pokestops so we can put the kids in the stroller and walk around endlessly if we wanted to. The game is on H's phone, not mine, so at least it won't be distracting me while I am not with him.
BH did not get the sleep memo apparently. He was up at 4:30. It's been a whirlwind weekend and the house is an absolute disaster area. BUT it's only a 3 day workweek for me, so I know I can pull through.

carrots I keep hearing that, but didn't call yet since we've been out of town. Maybe I'll try later today. DNW to pay for a full day of childcare if I'm not even being paid myself.
Day 3 at the beach except we haven't actually made it to the beach yet just the pool. O officially has my cold from last week so I was up holding him for a few hours last night. Any recs for what to do for a snotty baby while away from home? Steamy bathroom? Anything else? Happy birthday, mrsmonogrammed!!
It's a dreary morning here. It's going to be a long week. My medical assistant is out this week on vacation, so it's just me and the doctor unless one of the other clinics can give me their MA if they don't have a doctor.

Can you put some folded towels or something in his pack 'n play (or whatever he's sleeping in) to help prop his head up a little? His crib pillow wedge is the only thing that lets DS get anything resembling sleep when he's stuffed up. Hope O feels better soon so you both can enjoy vacation!
Happy birthday mrsmonogrammed!! Good luck with Whole 30!! The first few days are the hardest.
I'm so tired. B was up quite a bit last night. She's been STTN for months, so I don't know what's up but I hope it was just one bad night. And then I hear DD1 at 6:30 am screaming "I HAVE TO GO PEE!" Fortuntately, it's bonus stars on iced espresso drinks today. They get me.
Have some packing and laundry to do this morning then after lunch off to camping for the rest of the week!!! Yayyy!!!!
Random cuteness from yesterday, we took the kids to our town's annual flea market/pancake breakfast. We took them around to look at all the tables and stuff set up and a ton of people had old cars and trucks and toys in general for sale. The kids were in heaven checking it all out! We finally let them pick a little car each out of a 25 cent bin. Seriously greatest treasure ever, DS walked back to the van with me saying 'the ice cream shop has so many nice toys!!' (Where it's hosted) And from there we went to the farm for lunch and when we got right outside the yard DS was still clutching his with a big smile on his face and said "Gea!! Are you excited to show grandma and grandpa your new car too?" Best two quarters we've ever spent
This is my last real week off, sort of. My nanny job starts next week, so I'm trying to cram in play dates and fun stuff with H before that starts. Of course, if I get the teaching job and this lady finds a new nanny quickly, I could end up with the last week or two of August off. But gotta wait and see!
Talked to BFF last night and we're planning a trip to Disney next year! Yay! H adores her girls (5, 3 and 3 months) so it will be super fun.

Happy Birthday mrsmonogrammed!! Holiday Monday here and it's still super humid. I forsee another lazy pool and water table day in our future. There is this two week multi-cultural festival that started yesterday here. You can go to different pavilions all over the city sampling different foods and entertainment. We might go check out the Japanese and Mexican later today.
Completely addicted to stranger things on Netflix (thank you holliberry28 @jemomma)H and I stayed up until midnight last night. I'm tired and paying the price today.
Heading to a lake with the kids today to enjoy the sun. Then packing for a flight/trip to visit our families tomorrow.

I just started this show last night, so I think you meant to tag someone else I think @badwolf321 started that thread...
Ahhh I was thinking it was you. How far did you get? Did you like it?
Happy Birthday mrsmonogrammed! No big plans here today. We are going to the free zoo tomorrow with one of my sisters and one of my friends. I had to spend the last hour or so convincing my sister not to back out. It's been years since the three of us have hung out together!
