Re moving- babycakes does everything but crawl. She is fond of getting both legs up underneath her and lurching forward onto her tum, and is very quick at moving this way. 😁 she can almost get from lying to sitting on her own. She stood on her own while holding onto something the other day. I was trying to sit her down but she had other plans.
I like it NellieOleson! Looks like you can nurse in it too - I feel like I'm always looking for nursing friendly clothes now.
My LO has perfected his army crawl. He can shoot across a room with surprising speed. He also spins in a circle and rolls front to back to front. He can hold himself up on hands and knees, and he's starting to rock in that position, but no crawling yet. He is also starting to pull himself up on things, but he can't get himself from laying to sitting yet.
We put him in the baby swing on the playground today for the first time and he was all smiles. It was very cute, and fun to have another thing to do.
Lsquared I'm seriously jealous of your freezer stash! DD has started rolling all over the place to get around the room if I put her down. She looks like she's trying to get up on all 4's but not much progress there yet.
Aloha from Hawaii! Sorry I have been off the grid .. It has been a blast so far. DD did amazing on the long plane ride. Praying she is the same when we head home Tuesday. In our time here, she has learned to crawl, wave hello and is thisclose to her bottom left tooth cutting through. It's been busy...
I hope everyone is well. valie I wouldn't let this bother you too much. You have gotten this far in life.....Maybe it is worth speaking to your doctor about if you think it will help in the future/answer questions. Hang in there.
NellieOleson super cute dress! I need a dress for a wedding in a few weeks. I dunno about you ladies but there are days when the girls get out of hand! All my dresses are pretty low cut/revealing :/
NellieOleson - she only fits into 9 month two pieces now - like a dress and a diaper cover. I caved this weekend and pulled out all of the 12 month clothing ... which she will probably only wear for one month! LOL! sjames2015 - that is some major stranger danger! FX that she snaps out of it! pinktartan9 - so glad to hear that you are having a blast in Hawaii!
valie - If it was me, I would talk to my doctor about it just because I would be curious about it. Also, my DS is going to have to do an autism screening too, as a result of his three year-old CHADIS test results. I was stunned when DH told me about that. Were you surprised when you learned you had to take your DS for an autism screening? We are taking DS next month.

I hope everything goes well for your DS! Let me know!
I wasn't overly surprised. I've always thought he was a smart cookie because I'm his Mom, obviously. Then his doctors started telling me he is really smart, and his DCPs, and the librarians, etc... to the point where I find it a little awkward honestly. His language skills are very advanced. He's memorized entire books, songs, prayers. He melts down at the sound of the vacuum or smoke alarm. And he HATES beeping and wailing noises and will respond with sounds like he is echo locating. He has a thing for wheels... the list goes on.
I organized the 250oz (?!) of breastmilk in my freezer. That and washing sheets are my big accomplishments for the day.
Anyone else's LO on the move? DS isn't on all fours yet but somehow he manages to scoot on his belly all the way across the room. I'm not ready for this!
Oh ya. Thursday night I was telling my parents that she was trying really hard to crawl, and my dad goes "what do you mean, trying? Looks like she's succeeding to me", sure enough she was off across the living room, like it was no big deal.
