B had a leak overnight. As I was giving her a bath this morning, she peed in the tub. We were almost done so instead of draining & starting over I just rinsed her off and called it good. MOTY

Lol there is going to be a lot of pee in the tub in your future. I never empty and start over. When they're bigger and sitting in the tub you won't even know when she's peed.

Thanks for saying this, because I was feeling really bad about the number of times I let DS1 splash around in his own pee. It happens and I'd rather do a quick post-bath rinse than waste water (and time) refilling the tub.

DH is a refiller, FTR.
It has never occurred to me or dh to refill or do an extra rinse after a bath lol. Once they are sitting and having longer baths you can pretty much guarantee they will always pee and you'd have no idea. I can't even say for sure my potty trained 3.5 year old doesn't pee in the tub. I don't think she does but that's probably fairly recent.

MH refills too! He's like... do you really want our son sitting in his own urine?! I'm like uh... there is soap in there too.. so it cancels it out.
Ethan only had a 30 min nap this morning and I put him down again around noon. He was up at 12:35 and fussed for awhile. I THINK he put himself back to sleep! In the middle of the day! Good job LO!

J is cranky today. He went down for a nap, and woke up 45 minutes later. I said hell no, and left him in his crib. A few bouts of crying/fussing, and he's back to sleep. I don't even feel bad. Dude needs to sleep!

Wednesday is our 3 year anniversary. I hate buying gifts. I have no idea what to get H. We'll be going out for dinner and drinks on Sat. I want to get him a small gift but feeling lost...any suggestions? TIA
Just sent out the evite for H's 40th bday. I decided to do a lunch buffet at a brewery/restaurant. I included his brother and sis, even though they are still not speaking. I hope they show and mend things. I also hope there is no drama!

We are on our way back from our long weekend vacation. It was the most stressful vacation ever. Between the family drama of the family we were staying with and K getting crankier by the day it was awful. We couldn't leave fast enough.
K also hasn't pooped in days and it's obvious her stomach is bothering her. FX the apples and prunes we gave her over the weekend help. Poor thing.

I think apples actually cause constipation - it's why they recommend the BRAT diet for diarrhea, right? FX she feels better soon! Have you tried a rectal thermometer, bicycle legs, etc.?

I called the pedi and they said as long as its not bananas it should help move thing along. Bicycle legs helped for a little bit when she melted down before bed. We didn't bring the thermometer with us. She's sleeping now. I am actually praying for a blowout, its that bad.

I think the brat foods are just really bland foods, as to not upset the stomach.
4 month appointment went well. J only cried for a couple of seconds with his shots. I'm hoping he sleeps all afternoon.
I know I keep going back and forth, but I'm weaning from the pump. I started cutting down my pumping time today. I will pick up formula on Wednesday when I had to Target. I'm planning to just send him with formula when he starts daycare.
DH failed to get me anything to eat for lunch this week when he went to the store yesterday so I'll have to go back. I'm slightly annoyed, but mostly just glad he did the majority of the grocery shopping.
