1. How did last month go? Give me the good and the not so good. Last month went pretty good for the most part. I definitely don't know how to do portion control when it comes to ice cream. I was my husband's trainer for his big race last month so my running took a back seat so I'm excited to start training again.
2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? Hopefully no ice cream until the weekend. We don't have any in the house (since we ate it all) so hopefully we won't be tempted to go get some.
3. What is a short term health/fitness goal for the week? Run 4-5x, gym 2x to lift, and yoga tonight.
4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? I'd love to PR in the marathon and half marathon. I'm not sure if that'll happen this season, but I'm going to try. I found a pretty flat marathon in November that I'm thinking about doing.
5. Bonus Question: do you like working out alone or with a partner/group? A bit of both. I love my solo runs, but I like going to the gym with H and group fitness classes are fun.
1. How did last month go? Give me the good and the not so good. Last month was good in the sense that I finally got myself back to the gym on a semi-regular basis, but then I went on a trip and kinda fell off the wagon.
2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? This week my goal is to get to the gym at least three times and start to get back into my regular routine.
3. What is a short term health/fitness goal for the week? See above.
4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? Long-term I would like to get back to a place where I have some natural energy and feel more healthy overall. I hope that in the process of getting there, I also lose some of this "fertility weight" I've put on while on Clomid. :/
5. Bonus Question: do you like working out alone or with a partner/group? I prefer to work out with a friend, but usually end up working out alone.
1. How did last month go? Give me the good and the not so good. Not great. I'd gotten into a pretty good 3-4x a week groove, but it fell apart in July. My diet is fine though.
2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? Going to try to get back to the gym, or at least back into an exercise routine.
3. What is a short term health/fitness goal for the week? 2x this week is my baby step goal. It's just so hard to fit it in these days! If I can't get there, I'll row while watching TV.
4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? I just need to be in some kind of routine so that if we are lucky enough to get pregnant, I can keep it up.
5. Bonus Question: do you like working out alone or with a partner/group? Definitely alone. I like to put my head down and focus.

1. How did last month go? Give me the good and the not so good. Ok I guess. I haven't really gained any weight. Just can't seem to make my self do anything about the weight I gained after having the girls.
2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? I plan to monitor my food choices and talk a walk everyday.
3. What is a short term health/fitness goal for the week? make it through an entire week of eating healthy and walking. I do good M-F and then the weekend shows up and I ruin everything I did during the week.
4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? I would like to lose 60lbs which would put me in a healthy weight for my height (5'2") Losing weight would also improve my PTS symptoms so I REALLY need to lose weight but I just can't make myself stick to anything. I bought a fitbit alta so that maybe it would make me aware of my lack of movement and to get off my ass and do something. When DD is home, I tend to eat better because I want her to eat healthy. So maybe that will help.
5. Bonus Question: do you like working out alone or with a partner/group? Definitely with a partner. I am not very good keeping myself accountable.

2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? I'm going to run at least 3x this week, and start yoga everyday again.

4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? I really need to run more regularly. I want to increase my distance but then I end up skipping a week or two at a time and then don't make any progress.

1. How did last month go? Give me the good and the not so good. I gained like 2#. I've had a harder time running this summer on the treadmill in the basement with my athsma plus just a lack of motivation.
2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? I've been trying to run/walk 3 days a week and bike two. But it's suppose to rain alllll weeeek.
3. What is a short term health/fitness goal for the week? Not go too crazy with birthday cake.
4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? I want to get back to my adult low weight and increase my running speed and biking.
5. Bonus Question: do you like working out alone or with a partner/group? Usually alone unless I'm biking. H paces me a lot on the bike and it helps.
1. How did last month go? Give me the good and the not so good. I did the 21 day fix program through Beachbody and a monthly challenge group through my coach to keep me more accountable. I lost a little over 6 pounds and 2.5 inches overall.
2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? Starting my second round of the program today
3. What is a short term health/fitness goal for the week? Follow the program when I can this week and get my work outs in. We have VBS at church so dinner's won't be as healthy and we are camping this weekend so there will be more drinking and snacking involved.
4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? To lose about 25-30 pounds, lose inches and tone

1. How did last month go? Give me the good and the not so good. I have stayed pretty steady, but I can't make the scale budge at all. And I am so overweight right now, you'd think any change would do something...but I have way reduced carbs and overall amount of food, cut down on drinking, gone back to essentially no added sugar, and been working out and riding more...and the scale remains steady. Ugh.
2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? I am trying to get into a routine with going to the gym a few times a week, riding an extra time or two, and just being more active in general...like getting home and cleaning the house for an hour before making dinner and settling in on the couch (at least sometimes doing all that without any wine, too, sigh).
3. What is a short term health/fitness goal for the week? Swim 3x, ride 3x
4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? Lose 40lbs., that would put me back where I was when I got married two years ago and before all this baby stuff and work stress took its toll.
5. Bonus Question: do you like working out alone or with a partner/group? Usually alone, I've been swimming a lot and I love it, plus riding is pretty solo and I have to run alone because only turtles come close to my pace and they usually have to slow down so I can keep up. I did love doing barre class, but that was the first class I really enjoyed. H wants us to workout together, but I always feel self conscious with him and like I am holding him back, even though he's actually pretty great and supportive when we do go together.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
1. Decent. Workouts were on point, food was hit or miss.
2. Back on MFP. I need the food accountability badly.
3. Start jacking up my running distance, quickly. I'm bowing out of my Ironman because we can't swing the trip with new jobs and all our money tied up in a new house, so I'm going to register for a marathon. It's soon enough though that it's going to be really tight to train for it properly.
4. Ironman Chattanooga. I'm pretty crushed that I can't do it this year. All the tears.
5. Both. I really like running by myself, but I love workout classes and I always enjoy biking and swimming with my triathlon friends.
1. How did last month go? Give me the good and the not so good. The past month is ok. I logged quite a bit of time in the gym with my trainer and am lifting heavy. I hit 8 plates for the leg press which is getting back up to my PRs from a couple years ago. However, I can't get my butt in for any cardio. And I even like cardio.
2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? Cleaning up out dinners. We definitely let that slide.
3. What is a short term health/fitness goal for the week? To log all my meals in MFP.
4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? Weight loss that allows me to start running again.
5. Bonus Question: do you like working out alone or with a partner/group? Alone! Well, not counting my trainer.
1. How did last month go? Give me the good and the not so good. I started running more frequently, and my knees are handling it well, which has me really excited. But I'm also at my highest weight in years. It's a fine weight, but it messes with me mentally. I'm also having trouble getting into a rhythm gym-wise.
2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? I've been kind of overwhelmed lately and so we've been eating out a lot. I want to cut down on that.
3. What is a short term health/fitness goal for the week? Running 3x, yoga at least once. Consistent stretching.
4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? I'd like to do some sort of race, I haven't determined what length. Would also like to start bike riding at some point.
5. Bonus Question: do you like working out alone or with a partner/group? I don't mind yoga classes, but generally I prefer to be alone.

PirateCat it throbs and only really hurts when I accidentally hit it against something. I want to go lift weights today, but I'll probably just focus on lower body stuff.

I cut the tip of my thumb pretty badly in college and I remember the throbbing and the pain of accidentally hitting it, which happened a lot. It was so bad (because I'm clumsy) that I had to get a little metal thumb splint thing, which helped a lot. Take care of yourself!

I'm just gonna jump right in this!
1. How did last month go? Give me the good and the not so good. last month was okay...this past week I took off the week and had 5 days off just to myself which was perfect for eating clean and going to the gym everyday.
2. Any healthy changes you are making this week? Continuing on with healthier dinner options and LOTS OF WATER. I have the hardest time being so good during the week and then friday afternoon rolls around and its summer and its gorgeous outside I just want to drink beer with hubby on a patio. I know that I NEED to give up beer and alcohol in general but summertime is sooo hard
3. What is a short term health/fitness goal for the week? Tons of water everyday and get into a scheduling groove where I put myself first and get my ass to the gym even though DS is staring at me with his big eyes wanting to play
4. What is a long term health/fitness goal? I need yo lose about 50 pounds to get back to pre-pregnancy pre-marriage weight. But at the same time I really need to practice more self love and learn to love my body at every stage of the game.
5. Bonus Question: do you like working out alone or with a partner/group? Alone. I like to blast offensive rap music while I workout so I wouldn't want to offend anyone
