I have 1/2 an hour left of work. I hope DS sleeps late because I forgot to set up daycare for today so I'm hoping to get a little nap before he wakes up.
I'm heading to work - the metro line I take to work is under construction this week so my commute is a bit longer. But it's not as bad as it could be. DH is taking Uber instead because they're offering $3 rides during rush hour which is basically the cost of metro fare.

I woke up feeling sick. I just forced down some oatmeal with very minimal brown sugar to see if some food will help. No coffee because heart burn. I did not feel this bad this soon with DS. Thank god Dh will be home with us tonight.

Back at work today. So tired. And I forgot to bring my snacks so I'm in trouble. or I'm going to have to get some really awful snacks from our little market. Ugh.
Morning! I slept for 10 glorious consecutive hours last night. I don't think that's happened since... second trimester with DS? At any rate, it was lovely. I still feel nauseated and have a sore throat, but at least I'm a little less tired (for now). Not much going on today, other than a big meeting this morning that I'm kind of dreading, and I'm hoping to be able to stop by and vote later this afternoon as well.
Hope your little one decided to sleep for you beyoncepadthai! Hugs glb30, those dreams are the worst.
The exhaustion has hit in full force. I went to bed at 8:00 last night and aside from one bathroom trip (I forgot those started this early) I slept until DS woke up at 6. I still feel like I could fall asleep any moment.
I stayed up to watch the Bachelorette at a friend's house and now I'm too tired to function. Trying to motivate with music but I think I need a second iced tea.
I just booked my dating ultrasound for tomorrow and am now scrambling trying tofigure out what to do with DS. Looks like H will have to miss work, which isnt too awful since it is our anniversary, but we cant really afford it.

I officially feel like everyone is staring at my belly. I know it's probably all in my head because I'm so self conscious about the bloat right now. But I really feel like everyone is looking and wondering. Ugh.

moutonrougeamandamh2glb30 thanks, he slept until 10 so I got a couple hours in. Luckily he's not a morning person. glb30 I work on the med/surg unit at the hospital. The shift is 6:45 pm to 7:15 am. It is rough, but on the plus side I only have to work 3 days a week to be full time.

I left work early to come home and sleep before ds comes home. I tried walking and doing a short workout at lunch to see if that would help me at all. Nope.
So, H and I told our immediate families really early, because we're bad at secrets. Like, the pee stick dried and our parents/sisters/my BFF knew. But we told them all it was really early, and we are kind of nervous, so let's keep this to immediate family for now.
Fast forward me talking to our insurance agent to transfer our policy to our new house, and she's like, "by the way, congrats on the newest addition!" I guess not keeping secrets runs in the family. I mean, they are one of my parents' closest friends, and I know they're excited for us, so I'm really not mad per say... more just disappointed they couldn't just listen to us and hold it in for a few more weeks until we felt a little more comfortable with everything.
So far, my parents are keeping it quiet, jillywilly. But with the way they're pushing me to tell my sister.. who knows how long that will last. Luckily, its only another two to three weeks until my husband I agreed to spill the beans.
My patience is so thin today. I even had today off, so I got to sleep in until six am! The twins were up by 8am though I'm dealing with evening sickness, so yeah.. between the dread over evenings and pregnancy exhaustion, it is hard to roll with the antics of water-dumping, climbing toddlers of double trouble. I even called my mom and my older daughters on Skype for an 'adult' break. That helped, but they're heading out to have fun with my teenagers.
I'm walking the fine line of either puking my guts out or shitting my pants. So far, no accidents but when will this day end?! I feel like my luck is running out soon.

jillywilly I am frustrated for you. It's annoying they can't keep a secret.
We told his parents this weekend and mentioned I'm only 9 weeks and we are only sharing with family right now. When we were packing our stuff in the car, the neighbors come up to us and say congratulations. Gawd! So frustrating.
My mom was the first to know and started posting interesting things on FB this weekend like "trails are cleared now for kiddies to run", "this is the spot for the tree house" etc. This would be her first grandchild. I had to send her a strongly worded text to not let anything slip on FB because we decide when we are ready to make it public. Definitely not anytime soon.

Yuck! Can you just go home early?
I know I really should. It's a bit busy so might be hard to swing it. Maybe half hour early could work.
I swear if men had to go through this, workplaces would give you first tri leave! That would be so nice.
