Day 2 of whole30, did pretty well yesterday and started today off with a strawberry orange banana smoothie with almond milk- actually quite tasty. DD even had some this morning and loved it:)
I went to bed early last night and slept for 10 uninterrupted hours. I don't think that has happened since early in pregnancy with DS. Unfortunately, still woke up this morning nauseous and with a sore throat. Not much on tap today besides a meeting I'm really not looking forward to, and hopefully getting time before I go home to go vote!

DD was up repeatedly last night and ended up in my bed at 3:00. Just a bit tired today.
I'm so excited, though. One of my friends is ending her maternity leave soon and is afraid the nature of her job won't allow her to pump enough to keep up with her LO. Since I still have about 900 ounces of milk in the freezer I probably won't use, I offered to donate to her to help her supplement. She was so happy! And while I would be happy to help any baby at all, I'm especially happy to help a friend not have to feel the stress of having to pump enough at work.
You can do it mrsmonogrammed! My BIL & SIL did Whole30 in the spring and they said once you get past 10 day it's a breeze! You'll be there before you know it!
Today my sister and I are taking H to the water park. I also want to swing by the consignment store and sell some stuff. Oh, and complete the very unfun task of ordering a new tire for my car since the patch isn't holding. I swear that everything money-related happens to teachers in the summer. Speaking of which, I also have to go back to applying and interviewing for jobs now. I might put that off for a little while...
My mom just took lo to her house for a sleepover and I'm a basket case. Full on ugly cry. So now instead of tackling the massive to do list I'm drinking iced coffee and coloring in my Harry Potter coloring book.

I'm suddenly sleeping deeply again or something. We haven't gotten out of bed before 8 this week, even though H says J is up at 645 or 7. I honestly don't hear him...and that kind of freaks me out a little.
We're finishing breakfast, then we'll be off to go pay the rent that I forgot to yesterday. Then maybe I'll finish rearranging the living room that I tore apart last night.
I just drove an extra 5 miles and past 3 other Starbucks to get to the one with a drive thru. Its raining hard and do not feel like getting soaked wrangling 2 kids in and out of the car

Finishing packing for our trip. Clean house. Write care list for our neighbors that will watch our dogs.
Driving 3 hours today to Washington state. Then staying overnight in a hotel. It's by a nice park and river so hopefully we'll be able get some outdoor time today.
H just texted me and said his mom is coming tomorrow, staying until Friday and taking MM back home with her... until the 14th. We had talked about it but never decided anything and now it's all of a sudden happening. Not sure how I feel about it.
3dimesdown, you have all of my sympathies. My mom just took lo for two days and I'm freaking out. I can't even imagine what a basket case I'd be and I would not be able to deal with the in-laws taking him.
My physical therapist is running late (& I'm in a time crunch since h planned meetings where he works an needs to leave...) so I saw this other lady who pressed down really hard where it hurts and was all, "does this hurt?" I think my cry of pain was enough of an answer!
I also whacked my knee on the wall this morning hurdling baby gates, so I'm batting 1000 here.
Happy Tuesday! Both kids slept in this morning, it was glorious. H took the boys to the zoo yesterday so I think they were worn out.
I have leftover Del Taco waiting for me for lunch, I'm pretty excited. We don't have one anywhere near where we live, but there is one near the zoo so H stocked up on some burritos and brought them home. I'm a lucky gal.

carrots The chest freezer investment was totally worth it to me! 1,000 ounces (organized by date using the gift bag system) pretty much filled a mid-sized freezer for me.
Sometimes the logistics of keeping my house together get me down. As of one hour ago, I had my cleaners scheduled to come Thursday so the dog would go to daycare. I lined up the exterminator to come early Thursday bc he is terrified of dogs so it's best to have him come when the dog isn't here. Cleaners have now rescheduled for tomorrow which means rescheduling everybody else...grrr.
The exterminator is afraid of dogs? Did I read that right? If so, that's...strange...to have a job where you make house calls.
Happy Tuesday! We just finished packing everything up from our camping trip. It's supposed to rain, so we got a head start to packing up last night and going to spend the day at the children's museum before going home and unloading everything. Had a great time except E slept horribly the last two nights so I'm exhausted. Never had Del Taco, but it sounds that amazing right now!
I didn't go to work yesterday, G had been up screaming in the middle of the night and then started freaking out again when I was trying to get ready for work. Since I was going to have to leave work early anyways for her swim class I decided I was too exhausted and didn't want to leave while she was freaking out like that. I don't think I've ever seen her get so worked up before. Teething, I assume? She seemed fine most of the day but took a pretty long nap in the evening.
We slept much better last night and here I am back at work. Busy week ahead! I'm coordinating a wedding on Saturday so I have a rehearsal on Thursday and am still trying to get all of the info I need from the bride and groom. Tonight there's a potluck around the corner for the national night out, so we're planning to stop by there. And of course we're handling stuff related to selling our house and getting the new loan in order for the new house.
Hang in there belle0720! You can do this! Teething is a killer though...we've got 2 molars coming through and H is miserable. Hope G does better tonight!
mcp6286 2 Molars!? I can't even imagine what that's going to be like, G still only has 2 teeth! LOL There's another that you can feel and not see, but it's been like that for over a month. We have a lot of teething woes ahead of us I'm sure.
@poppyc8 where in WA? Just curious, you can PM me if you want.
Flying out of Spokane so we do the border crossing at metalline falls. It's a beautiful drive. Hopefully we won't run into an elk on the way! Where you at?
