Hi all.. I've read all of your updates. Can you forgive me for being so drained to not respond individually?
Long/short: Spotting needs to stop and let you be! Darn dog! Egads.. I worked two jobs through the first two trimesters of my first pregnancy. I have NO idea how I did it. Here I am, fifteen years later, and I can barely do one part time job and take care of my kids. You guys made me feel better about how chasing a little one around is harder than working though! I can give myself some leeway because my days consist of working from 3a to 8:30a, then chasing twins around all day?
Sadly, today is some people's Friday or almost.. it was my Monday. They have me scheduled all weekend, and my dh is working overtime tomorrow night so he won't get home until I have us all in bed here and I am snoozing. ><
It literally took all my energy and patience to get through dinner and bedtime tonight. My son fought me every.step.of.the.way!! 2 year olds! I am now on the couch and don't plan on moving again tonight.

Amen to the 2 year olds induced exhaustion. The independence.. that yes, is important.. is also so tiring!
missi ha! I know! I am glad you relate. He is so independent which is great but every step of the routine take double or triple the time it should when he has to do it his way. Crazy kids!!
I dont know how you guys are surviving at work. Being at home with a 14m old isn't a walk in the park either but at least pants are optional. I worked when I was KU with DS but didn't feel nearly as bad.
My thoughts exactly. I literally need to nap every day. I don't remember this with DD. I think about all of you at work every day.

Preach. This 2.5 year old stage is hard!
Yeah it sure is! You just cannot reason with them!

Lol- I don't know if I am surviving! I came home at 1 pm today. The tiredness is the hardest part of 1st tri for me- and I gotta think being at home with a baby or toddler is more work. BUT- puking at work is the worst. I also hate having to wear dress clothes when I feel like shit.
+1 to the toddler freak outs desirrek. Hell hath no fury like my son today when he ate his entire peach but wanted more and there were no more in the house. Fifteen months has made him Mr. Independent and everything has to be the way he wants it.

Ha! They are ruthless! I am always nervous to give my son the last of anything for exactly that reason. He controls my life...lol!

I am going to fourth this, one of my 2.5 yo girls has been so hard recently! I feel like she has been yelling for a month straight.
However, we did actually have two amazing days for the last couple and they have been so freaking cute. I am scared for them to turn back into their 2.5 year old crazies at an moment.

I should be studying.
Love the cute at this age! It helps us not run screaming away from the insanity of their frustration or anger.. or desire to simply climb us constantly. I should tell you I'm typing this with a large blue bouncy ball over my arms that was just placed there by at 2-1/2 year old The other has taken her diaper off ~facepalm~
