Hey girl hey!! I have some meetings today, work isn't super busy for me until the 15th so I'm enjoying being kind of chill for a little longer. H and I are looking at couches later, we love one at Ikea but are going to investigate Costco later just for kicks.

I'm going to start priming one of the bathrooms today. I haven't settled on what color I'm going to paint it yet, but right now that bathroom only has the cat's litter box in it so if this project takes a little while it's not a big deal. But I was feeling the urge to paint rooms again, and it's a pretty easy one to check off the list, so here we go!

Just going up to the IL's camp up the coast, about 3 hours from here. They are there right now, H's aunt, uncle and grandma will be joining at some point. We don't get to see grandma as often as we'd like so it'll be nice. We're also bringing the cats because they love car rides and vacations. 

And it's H's birthday tomorrow and I have dinner reservations at one of his favorite restaurants up there.

I came into the office at 6:30, it feels great to have worked almost four hours already! Good thing since I am going to slip out in an hour to go to the barn for a bit...

MH just suggested we go to the beach down the Cape with the dogs this weekend, at least for the day, and I am trying to figure out where we can make it work...and then I just saw it might rain on Saturday so I don't know if it's worth it. I wish he would be into planning ahead...at the last minute, everything is more difficult!

Good morning! The crew started on our roof at 7am. And there are 5 other houses getting roofs today in our neighborhood so the streets are a mess with work trucks and stuff. We came to my ILs because my poor dogs were freaking out with all the knocking. I think we're going to leave them here for a bit while we go to the county fair this afternoon.

VBS is done for another year. I haven't done any of the exercises for the week for my second round of 21 day fix so tonight I am going to at least do Monday and Tuesday's. I may try to go yesterday's as well. Tomorrow do at least 2 days as well and then I will be mostly caught up....oops

And then camping this weekend so won't be around Saturday to do any but will be back on Sunday and can catch up then.

Yes! It took three different claims, three different inspectors, and three different contracting companies but they finally approved it!

Same cape is 2 hours from me but never been. Talking to my sister about it she says there is one bridge to get there and traffic is horrible and it will take 4/5 hours to get there. That's seems really dramatic and wondering if any one can confirm or deny? We always go to Maine to the beach. 1 hour and a half drive.

Getting on and off the cape can definitely be a challenge...and depends greatly on when you go.  There are two bridges.  Don't ever try to go on a Friday in the Summer and don't try to get back on a Sunday after about 8am.  If we go during the summer (which we almost never do) we leave at 5am...we are only about an hour away without traffic, but it can take 2+ easy just from where we are.  However, the Cape is GREAT in the off season...it's usually nice weather until October, sometimes a little chilly and not really lay out on the beach weather, but for a nice picnic with a light sweater or a hike, it's super nice.  We LOVE to go in the off season. 
We really just want a nice beach day with the dogs and there are so few places that we can do it, it's the only reason we would even consider going down the Cape in the summer (there are a bunch of beaches that are dog friendly even in the summer if you go way down the Cape) but it would be a lot more fun if we could stay overnight so we could wake up and just be at the beach!
