I don't understand hand ball...I feel like this is only a support you play if you want to do the Olympics but you aren't good enough at soccer or basketball.
I've seen handball courts, but they all have a giant wall at one end you play off of, so these teams playing Olympic handball confused me. Today I learned the one with the wall is called "American handball" and the one played at the Olympics is "European handball". We have to make itdifficult for everything.
Are you watching qualifying? We have it on and it's so exciting.
The only downside is that ds just did a flip off our couch after becoming inspired.
I was obsessed with gymnastics one Olympics growing up and was so sad when Kim Zmeskal fell after a vault. My little sister was 3...and kept saying "look, I'm Kim Zmeskal" and falling down, then standing up and saluting the imaginary judges. I remember being so mad at her, haha.
I'm trying to be a good American 2dumbdogs...I'm here watching women's gymnastics. We dominated floor!! Gabby's routine was seriously lacking compared to the others and her execution could have been better.

Now that you mention it, I have seen people play "American" handball. Its like racquetball without racquets.
I stayed up way too late the past few nights binging on the olympics. Got to watch Phelps get his 19th gold medal and the ladies gymnastics. The GB girl's fall looked awful. Can't believe she completed her vaults after that.
FFMC: we left the olympics on during C's first birthday party so people could watch during down time between food and presents. Now a good chunk of her pictures will have bicyclists on TV in the background. Oops.
Speaking of cycling, did anyone see that major fall from the girl I believe from the Netherlands? She was in the lead with like 20kms left of the 200kms. I felt sick seeing that. I hate seeing people get hurt like that. I was googling last night to see what happened or how she was doing. In the coverage we saw they didn't really provide an update...off to see if there are any updates on her.
ETA: she suffered a serious concussion and some fractures, but should be okay. They said she was unconscious for a considerable amount of time. So scary!

I'm watching live coverage on my phone during lunch. I've learned so much. Things I didn't know were olympic sports: windsurfing, slalom kayaking, golf.
Made some cheesy motivational printables for the olympics lol. Just another way to show off how talentless I am in the wake of the most talented people in the world gathering together.
Is anyone else watching tonight? They're showing women's beach volleyball. If I didn't think I'd get immediate skin cancer on my pasty skin this is definitely the summer sport I'd be most interested in playing.
ampaints NBC is currently showing the women's all around in gymnastics of that interests you. Pretty sure men's rugby played for medals today, and that rowing also had medals.
Did anyone just watch Ledecky crush her own record? She was so far ahead she was off the screen by the time the other women flipped at the wall. Craziness.
