I'm excited to watch but also dreading the health related drama associated with Rio already. I just hope nothing really bad happens.
OMG yes. All I can think about is the amount of zika that is going to get back to the US and how it's going to spread like wildfire between mosquitos and sexual transmission and no pregnant person will be safe for like 10 years until they can get a vaccine. I'm a peach.
Also did y'all hear about the basketball staying on a cruise ship to avoid the village. Why can't this be the case for all the US athletes. Those accomidations are awful and usafe

Zika is coming to the US regardless of the olympics. There are a lots of other reasons the games never should have been held in Rio, but Zika doesn't rank for me (Olympics wise- I definitely think we should be spending money on developing a vaccine and other ways to combat and treat it.)

I'm here! Was supposed to go to the bar with my friend to watch but DH is going to be home late so I had to speed clean my house before she came over! hah.
Haha, you guys thought you could hide the drinking thread by titling it something I'm really not too interested in. Well I am so bored (DH is going out to Bluesfest tonight and DS1 is out too!) I wandered in here to be nosey and alas found the drinking thread! I'm finishing off a flat cider (or hard apple juice, whichever way you look at it, it's not bad! Lol! I accidentally froze it at the hotel the other night and was not about to let it go to waste). Then making some popcorn, pouring some red and settling in for some Netflix!
Enjoy the opening ceremonies! tuscanlatte that drinking game seems intense! GL with that! Ha!

So I guess I'm seeing it way ahead of you guys per the parenting thread. US has an hour time delay and Canada is live. I am slowly losing interest since Canada walked in already haha. But you guys will be soon since they're going in Portugese order and so its Estados Unidos.
redandblue flat cider is still apple juice! What are you going to watch on Netflix?
Haven't decided. I will search a bit, but have been seeing some people talk about Wentworth. Might it a try, again (sometimes I have great difficulties with the strong accents and paying attention...FFFC)
