Hey ladies! It has been a crazy couple weeks and now we are in Alberta for a week visiting my sister. I feel like I've missed so much here and I haven't even had time to check in.

Both targets near me were sold out, but my sister managed to get one held at a store near her (an hour from me). They're flying off the shelves at that price. I did read some comments online that it's a global pricing error and stores aren't supposed to be selling them though? Not sure how that's going to work.
Woo-hoo DH just finished the rough draft of his book so we are celebrating with an ice.cream cake and I bought new jeans and it wasn't nearly as traumatic as I expected.

Some amazing in-law stories for y'all:
*shuttle service in Yosemite is the worst. Last night we got on a shuttle at the end of the night to go back to our hotel, only to have it stop for the night 6 stops before ours. So the next shuttle that came was full of the regular crowd, and all of us on the stopped shuttle. MIL pushed herself on without waiting for us, but DH, me, the kids, my niece, nephew, and BIL didn't make it on. BIL decided we should walk, in the dark, instead of waiting for the next shuttle. DH and I wanted to stick to the path beside the road, but BIL who "knew the way" made us cut through an unlit meadow. After the fourth time he took us a wrong way making us backtrack, we told him we were going back to the path. And it's a good thing we did, because we found my MIL wandering alone in the dark because she had insisted the bus driver missed her stop and made the bus driver stop and drop her off...3 exits before the stop she was supposed to get off on.

DH tried to make us reservations for dinner for our anniversary last night with his family watching the kids. I told him I wasn't comfortable with his family watching our kids and made him cancel. After this morning I'm glad I did. We were all walking to breakfast together, MIL, BIL, SIL, my 16 year old niece and 13 year old nephew were up ahead with LBB. DH and I were a bit back with BH who has decided he wants no help from anyone going places, so he's a lot slower.
We found LBB on the side of the road by himself crying because he was lost and didn't know where anyone went. That entire group managed to just leave him behind somehow. Poor kid was so upset and scared. I'm so thankful he knew to stay still and not go try to find anyone.
I'm sorry, billyhorrible! How does a group of adults loose sight of a small child? I'd be beyond mad.
In more winning news for tonight, I had totally forgotten about some lasagna that we froze from last week until H came across it in our freezer - one less meal of take-out this week, since we're really down to the nitty gritty getting ready to move Thursday!
