Good luck to you too @jemomma, fingers crossed you don't need a root canal.
mrsdee1982 I hope you H is able to find something next year! It did wonders for us when H was able to get a semi normal schedule instead of working swing. And I just can't imagine yalls schedule with two LO's.

Neither can I. Especially since my parents are moving out of state in a few weeks, so we're about to lose our only reliable support system.

I'm waiting until 8 so I can call the chiropractor. I've got about a 30 degree range of motion and if I don't get in soon I'm afraid it will lock up again.
mrsdee1982, that sounds amazing! I hope he doesn't change his mind between now and January!
Today has been okay. Caffeine has been required. I'm very ready for the current spell of poor sleep to be over.
We went to soft play this morning and during our week away she's learnt to do so much! She can now get out of the giant ball pit on her own, although she can't get in yet. The bottom of the pit is slightly raised. She's an absolute champion with the baby walker at home. I'll have to try and get a video.
3dimesdown even if the job doesn't pan out, getting the first interview out of the way will be exciting! I was surprised how much harder interviewing was for me as an experienced hire than when I interviewed during college so having a couple interviews for jobs that I wasn't super excited about helped me get it figured out.
So much truth to this 3dimesdown! Nothing is better to prepare you for an interview is another interview. You can shake off the nerves and prepare yourself with answers to certain types of questions in case you get asked them again later down the road.
Also, carrots if friends sleeping over is the main reason for getting a bunk bed (vs sharing with a younger sibling), I would definitely forgo the bunk bed for now. Another idea for sleepovers/storage would be a trundle style bed. For example, Ikea has this one:
carrots, I totally get the motivation behind the extra bed. I just think it's a little early for that. You've got quite awhile until they are going to sleep in a bed for a sleepover.
Heading to the airport now. Flying delta. Did everyone see the power outage news? Hopefully we will be able to get on our plane. The news said expect massive cancellations and delays...
The weekend was way too short. Worked a wedding all Saturday so yesterday was really my only day. Fun day though, H, G, and I went for a long walk in the morning and got a delicious breakfast out. Then we went to our "Taste of Downtown", where you go to a 24 different shops/restaurants and each one has wine tasting or food.
This is my short week and I'm looking forward to getting a facial on Friday and then going to the pool with my friend and her daughter.
Also, we're supposedly getting two offers on the house! Fingers crossed!!
carrots, the other thing to think about is that my friends and I normally just slept on the floor for sleepovers, and weren't phased one bit. Alternately, if I did just have one friend over, my mom also just had a spare twin mattress in the basement we could pull out. Kids are a lot less picky with sleeping arrangements than we are. I do love the bed you saw this weekend!
Good luck, @poppyc8! I saw news about the Delta outage on the local news this morning, and they were making it sound like it was going to be a nightmare.
All our laundry is folded in the living room, so when I got out of the shower last the only underwear in my drawer was the high waisted granny panties I bought for wearing right after MM was born. I was lazy and put some on for bed and meant to change this morning. I forgot. My panties come up about an inch above the waist of my jeans. It's a really good look. 10/10 would recommend.
Yes. I have horrible tension in my shoulder/neck area and my job and hobbies promote poor posture. Oh and the co-sleeping toddler that only wants mommy may have contributed a small amount too
My neck locks up likes this one or two times a year.

I understand the co-sleeping toddler woes. I always feel so stiff if DD sleeps with me the night before. Since this is an ongoing thing for you, a heating pad (or even wet towels warmed in the microwave) may help. Hope it feels better soon!

We made it on the plane! But have a connection in salt lake so hopefully that flight isn't canceled. The airport was a mess. None of the status boards were accurate. Hoards of people everywhere
Thank you everyone so much for the kind words and thoughts. Unfortunately, it was another mixed appointment. There was growth, but not as much as the doctor wanted to see. So he sent us to get the better ultrasound two hours later. The tech did find a great heartbeat of 118, but we're barely measuring around six weeks, and I really think I should be closer to seven, even with just coming off the pill and screwy dates based on when I got a positive test. So it's another waiting game for another week. Hopefully this one will go by fast since it's going to be so busy and the third try will be the charm for us in getting some final positive confirmation of this pregnancy.

Didn't have to get my tooth out today, found out I have a wisdom tooth grown in so on Friday in getting two out. They wanted to to both at once. Went to target today and got DD an cute little Sublime and Greatful Dead shirt! Super excited about it!!
Ugh jillywilly sorry for the mixed appointment. But I'm just going to say that is great they found a strong heartbeat and you should focus on that until then! Hang in there!
