How are you feeling? Stiff. Spent the weekend cleaning and nesting our apartment and I'm pretty sore now. Still have stuff to do today but I'm ready whenever this guy is.
Rants/Raves: Mostly a rave for my mom. She's been here since Thursday night and has been helping me clean and get ready. I love her!
How's baby? Doing well. Lots of pushes and rolls. No guesstimate on size.
GTKY: I love gymnastics! For Winter Olympics I love ice skating and snowboarding
How many weeks: 37 + 2 today. Oh god, is that all?
How are you feeling? Woke up early to pee, accidentally woke DD, felt like I was gonna lose several days worth of lunches, so I left her to bug SO and crawled back into bed. He says it was from 730 to 10, but my guess is it was closer to 830, and he woke me back up a little after 930. Oh well. Laying on the couch now; got crap to do today, though.
Rants/Raves? I am chanting the same thing, joy. Almost done. Oh... and the neighbors were hanging curtains at 3am. Who the hell does that?
How's baby? She seems to have changed her orientation but I can't figure out how she is facing. It makes me nervous she is really gonna be in a funky position for labor. Otherwise, she has been pretty ok. She got a through-the-belly kiss from DD when they woke me up today.
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? I actually have only paid any attention to the Olympics via the occasional headline. Like... Vietnam getting their first gold medal ever is pretty cool, but I didn't read far enough to even catch what sport it was. Oops.

How many weeks:38+1
How are you feeling? Tired, and over it.
Rants/Raves? Rant, I know it's kind of late, but I'm kind of sad this little girl isn't have any kind of shower or luncheon. Not for gifts, she has everything she needs, but more because I don't feel she has been celebrated the way her sister was celebrated. And it kind of feels like even when she gets here everyone is more concerned with how DD 1 will react, are getting dd1 big sister gifts, and wondering when they can watch dd1 while I'm in the hospital. I'm so overthinking this. Raves DH has hired a house cleaner to start while I am in the hospital, when ever that maybe. He already has a list of priorities for her to get done. Each day I'm in the hospital she will come out and clean. He said if I am in the hospital for 3 days from start to finish the only dirty thing in the house will be us when we get home. She told him she will even wash his dirty socks if that is what I need!
How's baby? She is good, moves NONSTOP!! I'm guessing if she come in the next few days she is around 7.5 if she makes it to 40 weeks I think she will be a little over 8.
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? Gymnastics, I've even gotten DH to wanting to watch it. DD likes to watch swimming so she can chant "swim real fast".
How are you feeling? I actually really feel fine overall, I'm just done with all the little things. Heartburn, peeing 6+ times a night, swollen feet/ankles every night, and feeling like I ave bowling ball in my stomach.
Rants/Raves? My MIL informed me she'd scheduled off work for a long weekend on the 19th. Ummm, ok. We had agreed that she would come a week after baby comes, but she seems to have ignored us. I'm done arguing with her about it. I informed her that I had made no progress so far and my doctor actually thought I'd go past my due date so baby may not be here when she comes. (I was feeling particularly bitchy that day).
How's baby? Giant. Seriously when she moves it's like she's stretching my stomach apart. She was estimated at 7lbs 12oz two weeks ago... so I'm expecting she's giant.
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? I honestly haven't watched much, but I do enjoy watching swimming and gymnastics.

How many weeks: 40 + 4
How are you feeling? Fed up, angry, depressed about still being pregnant, annoyed with almost everyone, and really really scared about all sorts of L&D-related possibilities.
Rants/Raves? Just rants over here. I'm just so jealous of everyone who has their baby already, especially all those due after me. I know "lots of FTM's go past their due dates", but it really doesn't feel that way either here or IRL.
How's baby? Big. Possibly too-big. Kicking away and hurting me a lot.
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? I love all the equestrian sports, especially the show jumping. I also loooove to watch both mens and womens gymnastics!
joy lol! countrycotton I felt the same about the celebration. We don't need any gifts but felt no one was excited. My SIL ended up throwing something very small and it was nice remylove1011 wow, your MIL sounds like mine. How annoying! With DD, my ILs decided to drive down (3 hrs) to stay with us in my last week assuming I'd go into labor. They didn't tell us they were coming until they were about an hour away from home. I told them, turn around and go home. I didn't want them sitting around my house waiting for me to go into labor. I honestly didn't care that they had already driven an hour. That's what you get when you decide something without asking. hummingbird125 I'm sorry baby is taking its time

ameliabird, Yup, that sounds about right. We're about a 11 hour drive from my inlaws so she plans to fly down. I'm just going to be really mad if baby comes on the 17th and we're coming home from the hospital to my MIL. Luckily my own mother will be there as a buffer, but still...

How many weeks: 38+6, Wednesday is my big day
How are you feeling? Physically OK. The IU is amping up, but I am surviving. Emotionally I am freaking out because my OB is being very hands off given my GD. On the one hand, I am glad not to be doing extra visits. On the other I could use some reassurance.
Rants/Raves? I love my mom, but she sent the most irritating email today. My dad is in South America on a trip helping do construction and his flight was delayed. She is still planning to come watch my bigs and told me not to worry. Great! Yay Mom! Except in the next breath she is busy telling me she hopes she can handle it physically without my dad. OK Mom, thanks for the guilt trip. You know what? I hope I can handle it physically too, OK?
In good news, my belly band arrived!
How's baby? Fairly active, which my freaked out brain is grateful for. Other that, no clue. Haven't seen her since 20 weeks. Ready to meet her!
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? In summer, crew (did it for 8 years) or gymnastics.

How many weeks: 38 on the dot!
How are you feeling? Just fine. The normal stuff. Heartburn, peeing always, sore hips, heaviness like baby wants to fall out, not really wanting to eat anything but breakfast food.
Rants/Raves? Just nervousness about my Mom arriving on Thursday and how everything is going to go with my husband and her.
How's baby? Very active, pushing and pulling a lot!
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? If I had a way to watch (we just have Netflix/Amazon Prime/Hulu etc) I would definitely be following gymnastics Always my fave.
How are you feeling? So ready for this baby to be an outside baby! Feeling large, heartburn-y, klutzy and this CTS is driving me nuts! Typing and writing is just so weird b/c I can't feel most of my fingers on my right hand!
Rants/Raves? Almost there - hopefully sooner than later!!
How's baby? Super active - which I love, but b/c LO is running out of room, sometimes these kicks, jabs, swooshes, etc can be kind of painful.
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? We love swimming and diving in this house esp since MH was a competitive swimmer for many years (he also did gymnastics but I think his height made it more difficult to continue). He's determined to teach LO how to swim himself. Can't wait to see if this one will be a water baby! As mentioned last week, we're more avid fans of the Paralympics and can't wait till Sept 7th when that starts!
hummingbird125 hang in there, you are so close! I understand your feelings though. I was only 2 days overdue with DD1 so I totally thought there was no way I'd go further with DD2. Delivered DD2 at 40+5. After 40 weeks, the waiting gets so hard. And it does feel like everyone here has delivered on time/early. No fear, I'll be sitting in your corner in a few weeks.
How many weeks: 38+3
How are you feeling? Good. Almost too good. I really can't breathe today though, so that's comfortable.
Rants/Raves? We got our new car this weekend so we are officially SET for baby boy to get here.
I've been having bad dreams about labor lately. It's obviously on my mind and I am clearly not looking forward to it. Giving birth is...not my favorite.
How's baby? He's been laying low the last few days. Perhaps preparing to make his entrance? One can hope.
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? I don't really follow. I'm boring.
How are you feeling? Not too bad, slightly more winded and tired these days
Rants/Raves? Had to see the OB today bc the MW was out. He ordered an U/S for me for tomorrow since I'm measuring 40 weeks. Excited to see my little guy tomorrow!
How's baby? Doing well - measuring big (or at least I am). I'm 2cm dilated, but I know it doesn't mean jack.

How many weeks: not enough (37 +3)
How are you feeling?: We've had to drive a lot this for the last few days, and it's been rough. I'm sore and nauseated. I'm also so sick of maternity clothes.
Rants/Raves?: My ILs need to go away. They so rude and unhelpful (I'll spare you all the details). Rave - H is nesting and my house is so clean.
How's baby? Busy. Kicking my ribs. Running out of room. She's still measuring in the 50th percentile, which is nice (I was afraid of a 10+ pounder).
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? Gymnastics!
How many weeks: 39 exactly. Planning to induce on Thursday(!!!!) which is 39 and 3. Medically, we could probably wait a little longer, but my doctor said we can do it.... So we're doing it. I feel a little conflicted and selfish for inducing instead of waiting... But my cervix is moving along nicely and it's just time.
How are you feeling? Done. Just so done. I'm really constipated, uncomfortable, got a squished up bladder, etc. I think I wouldn't feel quite so DONE if we hadn't had that false alarm two weeks ago. We've been feeling the "any minute" feeling for 2 weeks, and I don't think we would have started that so early otherwise. It's exhausting.
Rants/Raves? Just uncomfortable. And my Sweetie has been trying so hard to rest her injured wrists so that she can use them when the baby comes... But that means I've been doing a lot of chores around the house, despite being really worn out and super pregnant. I want her to rest and recover, but it just doesn't feel *fair.* (I hate that word.)
How's baby? Awesome. Twice weekly NSTs show that this little man is healthy and happy. Lots of kicking and wiggling, especially at night. Sometimes so strong it hurts.
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? I love watching the gymnastics and the equestrian events. We've been watching swimming and beach volleyball too. I get nervous, and tend to like it when the games are on the other side of the planet and I can find out who won before I watch the broadcast.
How are you feeling? I'm still in excruciating pain from my tailbone and I'm just getting over a viral infection. So, not great.
Rants/Raves? Rave- my mom is awesome. She's making all our freezer meals and is taking DD while we're in the hospital. My life is just infinitely easier and better with her in it. And at the same time, she's always making sure we don't feel like she's overstepping boundaries or being too involved. She's seriously like the perfect mother. Rant- my H on the other hand is getting under my skin. He's staying up too late at night, sleeping too much during the day. he rearranged the furniture the other day when I was running errands which he knew would make me angry. I made him move most of it back. We have so much to do and very little time to do it and he's wasting so much of the time we do have.
How's baby? Fine, active although not as much these days.
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? I don't follow, but I love the equestrian sports. I used to jump horses when I was younger and I'd like to get back into it.
How are you feeling? I was feeling kind of gross the past few days, but I feel much better today, which is for some reason is almost discouraging. I'm not sure why I feel like I'm less likely to go into labor if I feel good.
Rants/Raves? Today is my last day of work, yay. Hopefully the next couple days won't drag by too much. Especially after seeing how many people's inductions have been postponed here I'm trying not to get too attached to my Thursday induction date.
How's baby? Baby is good, always passes its NSTs and BPPs with flying colors. Lately it feels like its just going to kick its way out.
GTKY: If you follow, what's your favorite Olympic sport? Swimming. DH and I actually met on the swim team in college. DH swam with the older sister of one of the guys on the Olympic team this year in high school and it's been kind of cool to follow him.
