Sorry for being a day late. I am a creature of habit and this is a new routine I will have to work on!
This is a check in for those of us (or our SO) that are TTC via TPR including donor sperm, donor eggs, donor embryos, gestational carrier, surrogacy or any combination of those. Lurkers are welcome to come in and ask questions or become a part of the check in!
If your status changes and/or you want to be removed please let me know!

Still powering through the most intense 2ww I have ever experienced. TBH I have had a lot more anxiety and negative thinking then I ever thought possible. Working through it with DH, family, friends, journaling, prayer and by staying as busy as I can! Still firmly in Beta or Bust camp as I am afraid a peestick no matter what it says will make the anxiety worse rather than better!
Good morning! Our weekend was a whirlwind - but I have great news - we transferred 1 "excellent" hatching blastocyst on SUNDAY. They delayed us from Sat to Sun because none of the embryos were quite ready. We spent Saturday exploring DC and that was a great way to occupy my mind.
The transfer went well & the doctor who did it (not my RE) said we had a couple other embryos that were still developing but she wasn't confident we would have any to freeze. (We started with 7 fertilized). I was disappointed of course but still thrilled we had a great one to transfer - well, good news again - my nurse called yesterday & they were able to freeze THREE expanding blasts! One was rated even higher than the one we transferred! Woohoo!
We are super excited and trying to stay positive - I'm taking it easy but not totally resting - they recommended sticking to normal routines, just no heavy lifting, or strenuous activities. I'll resume short walks tomorrow.
Ok so that update was long...
trytobearunner34, thanks for taking on the check-ins. I am sorry you are having a hard time - this is SUCH a hard process. The TWW for me is usually fine for the first 5-7 days, then I get into anxiety-mode and can barely muster through. It sounds like you're doing everything you can to stay positive. I don't really have any advice except that I know how you feel! My clinic actually sent me home with a printed card that has info on "positive thinking" and "eliminating negative thoughts" - just shows how common it is that we get stressed out during this process...hang in there girl! You are so close!
king26, I was spotting for several days - maybe even a week or more thru the BCP...I don't think it's a problem. As long as your labs are good and everything is 'quiet' you'll be fine! And thanks, we are excited!

4furrypaws , . Moving forward with donor eggs was a confusing time for me as well. I struggled at first preferring embryo adoption. After digging a little deeper, I wasn't jealous that DH would have a genetic link to our child and I would not it turned out I was jealous that another woman was going to get to do something for my husband that I couldn't. Once I made my peace with that (didn't take long after I realized my pride was the only thing in the way!) I was no longer conflicted. I did a lot of blogging/journaling/praying during that time which helped. (((Hugs)))
