Good morning! XP from D16. Have a great Tuesday ladies!
It's going to be another busy day, it's month end for us and there's a new employee shadowing me (since she has no laptop).
TMI: On Sunday I went to grab a t-shirt for DS from his dresser and the dresser is right in front of the doorway. So, when I walked in I just leaned over it and opened a couple drawers looking for the t-shirt. These are self closing drawers. I kind of closed the top one in order to open the second one, and the top of course continued to close on it's own. Right on my nipple. I was already in my night gown and my boob was hanging in the wrong spot at the wrong time. Guys, I screamed. My nips are so sensitive these days I won't let DH near them. I went over to DH and had a good cry on his shoulder...as he rubbed my boob. And DS followed suite making his owie face. Many yrs from now the story may be funny but even telling it now I get tears in my eyes remembering it hurt so much.
littlelion oooooouch. I vividly remember how sensitive pregnancy boobs are. I'm sorry mama!
Day 2 of high school for my oldest and she seems happy as a clam. I'm so pleased, although this commute (1.5 hours round trip- twice a day) is going to be a challenge. Thankfully she will be driving in just over a year (look at your LOs and wrap your head around THAT concept...it goes so fast!). Hope everyone has a great day- I'm tearing my playroom apart, purging toys and rearranging the office area. I plan to be productive AF!
The countdown continues until my last day at work on Thursday. I can no longer leave my office to go to the bathroom or to get water because every time I do, I get waylaid for 10-15 minutes chatting with someone who is like, "I didn't know you were leaving!" etc., etc. Not that I don't want to chat with people, I just have soooooo much shit I'm trying to get done in the next 2.5 days!

ashlantic I was doing crossfit right before getting KU. But I stopped so I could train for a half marathon. Ran my half marathon at 22 weeks and then didn't do anything for the rest of my pregnancy haha.
I'm finishing 22 Minute Hard Corps right now. 4 weeks left.
My plan is to do country heat with my challenge group in September which will be less demanding and lower impact. I don't have a plan past that.
Hello ladies. We are back from "vacation". We had to buy all new tires for the trailer we rented just to get it back to CO. We returned the trailer last night and the guy was very understanding and very sorry. He's going to reimburse us for the tires, plus give us our full deposit back just for having to deal with it during vacation. I told my MH I would rent again, but would definitely do it locally, and have them (company, owner, whoever) set it up for us. This turned into such a bigger hassle than necessary. Had LO's 18 month check up this morning! No shots, they didn't have the previous records. I gave consent, and now awaiting to make a 2nd appt for those. I was sick yesterday, but have no idea what the issue was. I was unbelievably exhausted, nauseous, weak and dizzy. I'm better today, but just crazy. DH had an MRI on his knee today to finally find out what's wrong with it. Follow up appt tomorrow, so we'll find out soon (hopefully) if he needs surgery or not. He says it constantly pops now, so we know it can't be good. I'm making turkey tacos for dinner tonight. For some reason, I've been craving tacos. Not just any tacos, but my tacos. Not that they are the best in the world, but they do have beer as an ingredient.
ashlantic I do love podcasts! I have quite a few I listen to, though right now it's mostly stupid review stuff for school. I can only listen once I've dropped everyone off, because the big kids talk my face off the whole way to school. I don't mind tho- I have plenty of friends who's kids don't tell them a thing, so I'm grateful for that. Do you have any podcasts you like? I'm always up for trying new ones!
ourcrazynavylife that's awesome you were able to do that! My ob was more old school and said no to running. I did a lot of yoga and swimming while pregnant. kcrus I don't listen to any, but I have friends who really like the Serial and Radiolab podcasts. That's sweet that your oldest kiddos are so open and talkative with you. They must appreciate being able to talk to you about anything and everything. raven I'm glad you're feeling better! That's kinda how I was yesterday too. So weird. I'm sorry your trip was a disaster, but I'm glad the guy made it right. Hope you're able to relax tonight! littlelion thanks!
