Northern California (sac area)
Grew up in the Bay Area then moved to college more north then ended up in the middle.
I would so go back to the Bay Area, the weather is perfect but pretty expensive and oh the traffic. I haven't traveled much to fall in love with another state/country yet.

I grew up in Midcoast Maine. Now I live in southern Maine.
I pretty content where I am but I do like to travel and see other places. I have traveled quite a bit both within the U.S. And outside of it. I studied abroad on both Russia and Spain when I was in college.
I now live in Seattle. Grew up in Maine. I would love to live closer to my family. Probably Boston, although if I could convince them all to move here I'd like that even more because of the mild winters!
Iowa here. Grew up here and after college lived in south Florida for about 6 years. I miss living by the beach so much but I love being close to family so this is where I want to be right now.( as much as I hate winter! )
Where do you live now? SWFL (thankfully Zika is on the other coast!)
Where did you grow up? MA/Boston, moved to FL after college, thought it would be temporary but here we are with a home and 2 fur babies and a great group of friends. All of our fam is still in MA so we go back to visit often.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Europe, probably Portugal, Spain or Italy
Where did you grow up? Central Ontario. 20 mins from where I live now.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be? I would love to say something exotic but realistically I would only want to live in Canada. Maybe to British Columbia if money wasn't an option. But I do like my province.

I love Maine! DH's family has a house on a lake up there and we visit every year - we're going next weekend actually. I would love to live in the Portland area.

caer My husband and I both work in Portland it is a fantastic city with a great inclusive atmosphere. There is also a lot to do with the little ones.
We visit every time we're in the area, and I agree, it's wonderful. We looked seriously into moving there after law school but I was a little worried about the winters!

Yay! There's 2 of us now
Add me to the list!
I live in Ontario. A ways north of Mississauga.
Grew up in the GTA and Penetanguishene.
I'd love to live in Ireland but I dont think I could ever permanently leave Canada. I love my country so much.
Where do you live now? I live in Northern California in the Sacramento area
Where did you grow up? Grew up in the Sacramento area. When I was in high school my dad moved to Coeur d'Alene, ID and I spent summers up there.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be? I like living in the Sacramento area, a little over an hour away from the beach (San Francisco) or the mountains (Lake Tahoe). Not too bad!

I live in DC now. I grew up mostly in southeastern PA, but also outside Sacramento (my mom lives there now, she moved back when my brother left for college). I would probably move to Carrboro or Charlotte if I could choose to live anywhere. But DC is probably home for us for the foreseeable future.
bookish A2 winters are rough, and then I always lived in houses without A/C which made some of July and most of August unbearable. I wouldn't move back but it's a fun town!
ladytiffany24muskiefan DH is from Cincinnati (his parents are now in Blue Ash but the house he grew up in is somewhere else in the burbs) and went to college in Cleveland. He's also a big Xavier fan, even though he never went there and all his sibs so far have gone to UC.
I love to travel and see other places, but it's too hard to move too far from family. My grandma is 101 and I hate the thought of being too far away from her.

I live in Rochester NY. Born in Philly, live in across the bridge for 4 years in NJ and moved to ROC when I was 4. If I could live anywhere, it would be someplace warm...ideally Raleigh North Carolina. Or someplace exotic!
pbubblegummikaela20 I'm not from Canada, but we live close and this summer did a road trip all along the north side of Lake Superior! It was incredibly beautiful.

I grew up on Lake Superior! (The MN side)
We probably drove through your town, because we circled down and ended up driving through the upper peninsula of MI too. Holy smokes, I never knew how beautiful MN was, especially on that Lake Superior coast. And you guys have so many amazing rest stops and ADORABLE little towns. We drove through Grand Marais and I want to go back there because it looks so friggin cute!
