Pregnant via TPR 8-10

This is a check-in for those of you (or your SO) who are pregnant as a result of TPR including donor sperm, donor eggs, donor embryos, gestational carrier, surrogacy, or any combination of those. Lurkers are welcome to come in and ask questions or become part of the check-in!

Point of clarification: I am using 'surrogacy' to mean traditional surrogacy (using the surrogate's eggs) and gestational carrier where the carrier's eggs are NOT used. They are sometimes referred to as 'traditional surrogacy' and 'gestational surrogacy' respectively.

Hey all! 28+6 today, can't believe there's only about 11 weeks left until my girls are here!

Today is a super uncomfortable day – first time I've had really intense back pain, so sitting at work has not been any fun. I begged H to leave work at a decent time today so he can cook dinner and I can float in the pool. We'll see if it actually happens. My carpal tunnel is getting worse, too, and the nurse said Tylenol and a brace at night would have been her first two suggestions. I'm already doing those, so she recommended acupuncture. I asked H to check into insurance coverage... he might get around to it before delivery!

AFM I am 19w6d and nervously waiting for the a/s tomorrow afternoon. I'm terrified something is wrong with one of the twinkies as I've felt very little flutters/twinges/etc for the past week. This has been the 1st time I've had to go an entire week without seeing them so I'm sure that's a major part of my paranoia.

I haven't made much progress in the nursery lately, but did start painting the glider and a side table. I bought some vintage lullaby/rhymes artwork that I need to frame but that's about it for decor so far.

GL at the a/s tomorrow. I know around that time, it was still hard to decipher much movement from my girls, too. But I get the nerves, especially when it's the first time you've gone a while without seeing them!

longhornwino0907, I can't believe you only have 11 weeks, how exciting! The nursery is beautiful!
dream2be3, I hope everything goes well tomorrow, I can only image how nerve wracking that is! Also you have the cribs that I want and I was planning to frame some vintage lullabies!

I am thinking a gray, white and navy nursery with gold and star accents. I have lots of ideas but we will see what we end up with!

Amazon had the best price on the cribs when I ordered. I watched the price for a couple weeks and it fluctuated quite a bit. I got the artwork from etsy

I reallu have no idea, I don't have my first OB appt until 8/24. It's pretty standard practice so I assumed they would. Guess we will see then.

Ah okay. My doc was gonna let me go as long as possible, so just wondering
