Lo has settled into a nice schedule overnight. He does a 7hr stretch followed by a 3hr and a 1hr. Hopefully he will stretch that 3hr to 4 and that makes only one wake up. All since he's been sleeping in the sleep sack.

@frenchtoast, sympathy hugs. I was up a million times too. So so tired. Hopefully tonight is better for both of us.
We are trying a bottle at bedtime tonight because we want to know how much he takes before my mom has to watch him when I work my first shift (overnight) in 10 days, since DH will be away. My plan is to pump while H feeds him, then eat dinner, pump again, then sleep through his first nighttime feed when DH will give him a bottle again. I'M SO EXCITED.
DH is going away from mon AM to thurs PM next week and I am absolutely terrified.
I just found out our good friend has AML (aka cancer). He's 34 with a wife and 3 year old. My heart aches.
I don't know anything about this type of cancer, but I do know that modern medicine is a.freaking.mazing! (DD is living proof). Hopefully it's one that can be treated successfully.

I'm so sorry. That is heartbreaking. My dad was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia when I was 14, they gave him 3-5 years. He's going on 16 years and still in remission. Modern medicine is amazing!
Ugh ds1 can be such a monster sometimes. I told him he had to clean up his own mess but he had to wait to use the vacuum until his brother woke up. So he is making a shit ton of noise so that he'll wake up.

This weekend will be busy. Tonight my in-laws are staying over. They'll be here all day tomorrow and leave after dinner. Then my parents are staying over Saturday and Sunday night to see L. I'm glad L is so loved and all her grandparents will be here to spend time with her this weekend. But I also like my space! My mom and MIL have a tendency to give tons of unsolicited parenting advice when theyre over too. I much prefer weekends that are just me, MH and L!

k3am I would only medicate if LO is not eating well or is really fussy. I wouldn't give any Tylenol if it's just a fever. Other symptoms?
He's got a cold (cough, congestion). Up until a couple hours ago, he was acting like himself, and then he turned unhappy. I don't typically have a purple screamer, but I did today. He knocked himself out, so I'm just letting him be. I actually don't think we even have any infant's Tylenol anyways.. (About 2932798 of children's left over from DD's surgery though! I could start up my own pharmacy)
teraiin, I promise I'm not saying this to make you feel better (lol).. but honestly, handling the wakeups was 29385478924738922x worse when I just had one kid. I went from nice glorious long nights of sleeping to being thrust into NOT sleeping. With DS, I basically went from waking up 1-2x night with DD to waking up 3-5x between the two of them, which really isn't much different.
On a side note, my old neighbor functions off not sleeping more than 1-hour at a time M-F, and has for the last 4 years. That idea is terrifying.

DS has been sleeping better but this whole puking thing is getting old fast. He puked this morning around 6 and then puked as soon as I got him strapped into the car seat.
My interview went well yesterday and I got contacted about another job interview next week!
