Me- I can not sleep unless our closet door is closed. DH makes fun of my big time and will crack it because he knows it drives me bonkers.
LO- MUST have her sippy in the cup holder of her high chair tray if she's not drinking from it. She's recently discovered it and will pause whatever she's eating to put it in its spot if you just put it in the regular tray. She will also mean mug you like "you KNOW that doesn't go here!!" Lol
You guys kinda know this but I used to really be obsessed with Nsync. My AIM screen name used to be NsyncSweetie31. I cried at my first Nsync concert LOL still love them and JT but I've dialed it down.
Off to my facial but I'll think of one for G and come back!

You guys probably know this, but I'm obsessed with the Fiddler on the Roof movie. I know the movie by heart and can sing all the songs. It used to be my dream to be able to play one of the daughters in real life - and I have no other deire to act.
Related (kinda): since I was really little, probably < 4, I thought I had died in the Holocaust in my previous life.
LO- he pinches my thigh when he wants me to turn the tv on and then looks at me waiting.

Me: I'm a bit OCD with J's stuff. As in, I spent a good hour last night looking for one toy car (out of at least 30). I did find it. There is a piece missing to another toy that I still haven't found though. Also, the sippy cups must have the right colored lids on them. Idk why. But if the green cup came with a yellow lid, don't even think about using the purple lid on it.
J: obsessed with anything green. Always goes for the green toy cars first. Will dig through a pile of the goldfish colored crackers to eat all the green ones first.

I am a sippy cup matcher too!! H even asks now which one goes on before he does anything, lol.

I'm curious how did you know at age 4 those feelings? Is this something your parents told you about later? If you don't want to elaborate I understand
Me: I love doing laundry. Will do two or three loads a day. I find it super relaxing.
LO: she decides what to eat and not eat by smelling her food. She will reject foods based solely on their smells and refuse to try them. Somehow though, she always knows when things are made of chocolate and those are the only ones that get a pass on the smell test and go right into her mouth.

I think it could've been a combination of a few things I was exposed to. I heard stories of my grandmother escaping from a concentration camp, and I had my sister giving me "the diary of Anne frank" - some abridged version for children - major wtf - when I learned to read at 4, and to be honest, generally, I always felt like I had to know more about that time, as sad it was. You probably think I'm such a weirdo.

Anytime you're out this way and need to relax, you're more than welcome to come do my laundry.

Fiddler is such a beautiful show. I played Chava in our local theatre company's production when I was in high school. I was sad I didn't get Hodel, but it was a lot of fun. My favorite scenes are "matchmaker" and the bottle dancing scene in the tavern

That's awesome. I always wanted to be Hodel, too. I used to sing "far from the home I love" to my nieces and nephews to sleep when they were babies, and now I do with M. Those two are also my two favorite scenes + when Tevye pretends that lazar wolf's dead wife is coming to get them lol.
On our wedding, my sister surprised me with a Fiddler on the Roof performance. She had my dad sing "If I were a rich man," had my nephew play tradition on the violin, and she, my niece, and cousin sang matchmaker then the two 12 year old girls did a hip hop number to Gwen Stefani's "if I were a rich girl." One of my best memories ever.

Don't think you are a weirdo at all. I was just intrigued. My mom has always been interested in adoption so she watches so many movies about it and reads books about the subject even though she was not adopted. I find it fascinating just how people are drawn to different subjects.
Me: I only eat milk and cereal out of separate containers. Cereal in a bowl then milk in a cup with a straw. I take a bite of cereal then a sip of milk and chew. Occasionally, I'll mix them together but drink all the milk before eating any cereal. Dnw even remotely soggy cereal.
O: He sings along with everything. Hot dog dance on MMCH, when he heard the national anthem at a baseball game, the Sofia the First theme, Daniel Tigers theme, the vacuum, and me. We also play a singing game where he 'ahhs' on one note and I harmonize with him. This morning he got H to do it with him. He tries to do the same thing with the vacuum.

LO makes a low growing/hissing sound for pretty much all animals right now.
And when you ask "where's oscars nose/eye/ear/anything?" He grins and ALWAYS points to the top of his head.
I don't think I'm funny, but I do have weird cereal habits as well. I pile he cereal on one side of the bowl and methodically scoop it into the milk and eat it at just the right soggy level. And with lucky charms I leave all of the marshmallows for last, always have.
Me: I won't eat folded chips out of the bag. I always put them back and grab a flat one. I just always have.
Maddie: she likes to walk around holding her sippy cup with just her mouth, no hands. She shakes her head back and forth to make it wiggle and she cracks up.
