Pregnant and TTC after a Preemie 2/9/15

Last week:
Phillygal34- Hit 35 weeks!!! Baby is breech so we are trying to turn him and hope for the best.  Measuring large at 6.5 lbs and everything looks great! Doctors won't let me get past 39 weeks if he is breech due to size and risk of labor while breech.  Trying a chiropractor for the first time to get him to flip (specialized in Webster technique and has treated several friends)
Jnetx-  Starting to show!
Runningmommy519- had an ultrasound and everything looked great... one of the best 12 week u/s I've ever seen too!! ADORABLE!
Paradebegone-  routine check on Friday (how did it go???) and still deciding if she is going to get P17 shots
brummy14- Last week without a Dr. visit, starting P17 shots this week.
jemomma- Currently expecting DD#2 20 weeks 1 day along. Currently getting weekly 17P injections and bi-weekly cervical scans, everything looks great so far!

Currently Pregnant:
Phillygal34- Due 3/13 with DS2. DS1 born at 31w5d due to severe HBP and spent 26 days in the NICU.
Paradebegone- Due 7/10- Team Blue. DD was born via CS on May 24, 2013 at 33w 4d due to pPROM. She spent 24 days in the hospital.
Jnetx--due 7/29/15. Preemie was born at 34+3 after 4 weeks of hospital bed rest due to pprom some time before 30 weeks. 17 days in the NICU, mostly as a feeder grower.
runningmommy519- Due??? DS was born at 35 weeks due to severe IUGR and pre-eclampsia. He was classified as a feeder/grower and spent 21 days in the NICU.
tngrl3- Due 9/11/15- DS born at 34 weeks due to IUGR and cord flow issues. Spent 2 weeks in the NICU. M/c in August.
brummy14- Due 7/29- Claire (2lbs 8.9oz) and Paige (2lbs 10oz) arrive at 29w3d due to PTL and pPROM at 28w5d
jemomma-6/25- DD2 DS born full term at 40 weeks 1 day, DD born at 29 weeks, 6 days due to unexplained PTL



Currently TTC:
Pinogrigio- TTC since 9/13 going to see RE and trying IVF- DS was born at 32 weeks but was the size of a 28 weeker due to IUGR and cord flow issues (velementous cord insertion). He spent 2 months in the NICU


Currently thinking of TTC:
marajadeskywalker - DS was born at 31w 6d. They were never able to tell me what happened

Saw the due date info was lacking from the check info above, so....due 7/29, but best case, will deliver via RCS the first week of July due to prior classical c/s.

No major updates, just going in tomorrow for the first of many P17 injections and CL checks. Poor DH gets to learn how to administer them. Lucky him...us?

I am going to a maternity chiropractor tomorrow to see if we can get this baby to flip (I've never been to one before!) and then I have a check up on Friday with my step test, internal, and to check his position. If he hasn't flipped I go back Tuesday for an u/s and doctor apt and next Friday (the 20th) for a version with an epidural. I'm nervous about it all.

Update! First P17 shot was about as uneventful as they come, and now DH knows the ropes.

We had the first CL check immediately following (they were running a solid 45 minutes behind, so that was a bit frustrating), BUT we got an unexpected sneak peek at....our little LADY. (!!!) They u/s tech took a very solid guess (and based on what we saw, I'd be shocked if it turned out to be otherwise!)

We're going to have THREE GIRLS. (Which, will save me money in the short term. NOT the long term.)

Not much happening this week. We are still waiting for DH to be 18 months and walking on his own. He's pulling himself up on the furniture like a champ so I think it will ask be around the same time.

I'm starting to do Pilates and eating better to be as healthy as possible for when the time comes. I'm down 8lbs so far

Not much new here. I didn't know I never gave my due date. Due 8-19. Saturday I am officially in the 2nd tri and I can't wait!

Had my first Webster session. I felt him moving last night but I don't think he flipped. I have a dr appt this afternoon so we will see. I also have my first internal and strep test today. So fingers crossed everything looks good. But heck.... 36 weeks!!!!!! Wow!!

Dr appt went well. He's still breech. I'm less than 1 cm dialated but that's ok! BP is still down. Back to the chiro tomorrow!

She said pPROMis usually caused by infection of some sort. And since I didn't go into PTL, the shots may not necessarily be helpful. I had been told I was in labor and given magnesium so who's to say really.

She suggested waiting until the A/S on the 23rd to see how my cervix is doing. If it's short, then she would suggest the P17. Otherwise, they'll be checking for UTIs and infections regularly. So..... I'm still on the fence with my feet on the side of doing them.

I wish a medical professional could also just have a magic ball to consult and tell me the future!

Like jnetx, I also ppromed and had no signs of infection. We have no idea why I had him early. I would think that if your insurance covers it and you have a way to get them administered, it's not going to hurt if you to get the shots. Better safe than sorry!

I ended up googling pprom (and i am embarrassed to say that I never knew what this was/meant especially since it turns out this is what happened when A was born). Anyway, just curious if there is a go to for the newbies lol

Not too much new here. DH and I decided to NTNP for a little while which is perfect for my state of mind right now. I am thinking after a cycle or two of doing this It'll help give clarity into the situation and I will be on the TTC train.
