I have a wedding to go to in a couple weeks and been a mess trying to figure what to wear. Dress shopping was brutal because I'm at least 2 sizes above where I'm used to being right now, and everything I tried on was either way too small or up a size was too big in some spots and just all wonky. I finally settled on something but now I'm lost on jewelry. Something that pops a color? I don't know haha. My fashion sense goes about as far as 1. Is it not ugly? 2. is it comfortable? and 3. can I afford it. I have no idea how to accessorize. Please tell me what jewelry to wear with this dress!
My clutch is the color of the purple flowers in there, if that matters. The dress has one of those visible zippers up the back. And wearing black strappy wedges. Thank yall!!
Pretty dress!! I think it would be fun to do a statement necklace in a contrasting color- like a bright orange or green. Metallic would be good too- but I definitely think a print this bold calls for chunky jewelry, nothing dainty. I'll see if I can find some pictures
Ps. I really and truly have no idea what I'm talking about- I think I dress fairly well, but who knows what everyone else thinks! This is just what I personally would do

Ahha thank you! I was picturing something attention grabbing somehow, I should be able to find something like these. Never heard of Charming Charlies but we have Mandees and I think they have this type of thing.
So a set that has matching necklace and earring, is that too much or just a matter of opinion?
I am THE WORST at accessories. I actually love them but am clueless how to use them the "right" way.
I love either of the green necklaces and personally I'd do a small gold hoop or stud and NOT matching set.
I usually go for big earrings because I have short hair but I like those necklaces a lot with the dress.
+2 for one or the other. Generally if I do a statement necklace I do small understated earrings and if I do a bold earring I do no necklace and maybe just a bracelet. I feel like you will already have a lot going on with the print and a statement necklace that adding. The earrings might take it over the top. Super cute dress BTW!

Thanks ladies! Now I just read something about not wearing black to a wedding. Is this really a thing? Maybe the flowers make it not matter so much.. I don't know the bride or groom well and the invite has no dress code stated. But its at 4PM outdoors in a floral garden and reception is at a hotel.
I don't know why I'm over thinking this, except that generally I don't think about these things at all and just wear whatever I have. This time I had to buy something new anyway because nothing I have fits so I'm trying to do it right! I'm such a raggamuffin.

No way that's a great dress for an outside and evening wedding. Really the only color you probably shouldn't wear (even this some would say isn't a hard and fast rule) is white. I wouldn't worry at all about the color of the dress.
periwinkledaydreams traditionally solid black isn't ok at weddings because it can look funereal but that dress definitely would be fine with the gorgeous bright flowers.

+3 go for the statement necklace and then understated earrings or no earrings at all. The dress you chose is pretty! Also agree with @hazeldublin. Pop your eyes and do a clean lip since the color on the necklace and dress will be enough color you don't need a strong lipstick color
