This is such a great but tricky thread. DW suggested I go for a bike ride this week. I used to love biking before becoming pregnant. I might see if my body is ready and start out with a short ride along the river by our house.
My sister does gel manicures so I will probably have her give me a manicure at some point. I am in desperate need of a hair cut so I may schedule that as well.
I'm doing my daily work outs, counting my WW points, and I'm also going to get a pedicure at some point in time!
Next week, cut and color!
What are you doing for workouts? I would be super careful with what you are doing because of your pelvic floor issues. Honestly everyone here should be because it can really damage your pelvic floor after having a baby. Pelvic floor health is something I'm very passionate about. So many women harm themselves by going back to intense workouts way too early.

Aside from walking, I do a 7min work out daily, but I do it twice. I cut out/modified a few of the exercises that I know I don't do well, like pushups with rotations, I don't have the core strength to do it correctly. The rest I know I have good form from having done them w/ my trainer before and just paying close attention.
So basically I do a set of the following: jumping jacks, wall-sit, push-ups (on knees, slowly), ab crunches, high knees (running in place), step-ups on to a chair, tricep dips, squats, wide squats, side planks...oh, lunges (static).
All of the above with the OK from Uro-Gyne as long as my problem doesn't get worse and so far it's the same or better. BUT, if you know of any of those that I should't be doing, do tell I truly appreciate it!
babycaps I would go over your whole workout with your PT but the things that stick out are the jumping jacks, push ups and crunches. I wouldn't be doing anything high impact at all (i.e. Jumping jacks) until your pt tells you too. I would switch to low impact jacks (basically one leg goes out at a time without the jump in between). Do you have any diastasis recti? Most of us do and crunches and planks/push-ups are a big no-no until that is healed.

Oh and running in place and wide squats. Super hard on your pelvic floor. Regular squats are okay if you are using your core and pelvic floor to keep things in place. If you are still having incontinence I honestly think you should hold off on this workout until you see your PT and she can tell you what exercises you should be doing.

I know for me it's killing me not to do more high impact workouts. I just want to run again. I'm so sick of walking. But I know it will be worth it in the long run when I'm not peeing my pants all the time like I did before I rehabbed between ds1 and ds2.

I know I mentioned it before but there is a great dvd called Hab-it specifically for healing prolapse. You can get it on Amazon.
I ordered it....and forgot about it. Which means, where is my package? Off to investigate!!
I will take into consideration everything you said, but also have to trust my doctor who said i could absolutely continue my 7-min work out, especially since I have worked with a trainer for a long time to have good form while doing such exercises. I thankfully don't have DR to worry about. My friend had it BADLY.
Well last week I bought my LLR leggings and shirt. So this week I'm trying to think of some self care that doesn't involve spending $$$.
I'm thinking actually trying to give myself time to read the new Harry Potter book.
I ordered some leggings from Amazon that people say are really similar to LLR, but half the price. If I end up not liking them once my student loan money comes in I will bite the bullet and buy some LLR TC leggings.

Do you mind sharing which ones these are on Amazon?

I tried them on and they were super soft and fit well. I saw no messed up or poorly sewn seams. I haven't worn them for a full day yet or anything so I can't say more than I have about them.

Update: DW agreed to take the reigns after she's done work on Thursday so that I can go clothes shopping! It's too hard to try on clothes with DD and my post-pregnancy wardrobe could use some expansion!
