Hope you get some sleep this morning twocents6708!
These 5am wake ups are killing me lately! She used to be up no earlier than 7. Now she is up at 5 to eat ...fed her and put her back in the RnP by 5:45 ...she's already fidgeting at 6. Sigh*
Oh and I should mention too that my dog woke me up at 2:30 wanting to go out. All this happened while MH is still asleep in the guest room since 11pm. Feeling resentful because I'm tired! I had told him yesterday that he could go to the gym after work today. I might have to take that back and tell him he needs to come home

Daycare wore A out yesterday. She took a two hour nap when we got home, ate, then went to bed about thirty minutes later. I feel like I barely saw her Then she was up for the day at five, so that was fun.
On top of that J is home sick today. He's had a cold for a week but it seems to be getting worse and started running a fever. I'm taking him to the doctor to make sure he doesn't have an ear infection too.
Apparently they were serving a high risk search warrant (or making a high risk arrest.. Details are muddy). It involved about 20 marked cars, a slew of unmarked, swat, 3 helicopters, shutting down all major streets leading into the neighborhood and a hazmat team. If I hadn't finished my run when I did, I may not have gotten home because I wasn't carrying ID.
In addition they had a major car accident and a slew of robberies.
It may sound like I live in the ghetto, but it's actually not.
Crap sleep here but DD has a cold and can't breathe through her nose so I didn't mind being up with her. I felt sorry for her! We are taking it easy today!
k3am I'm glad you got a long stretch! What was up in your neighborhood?!
fishbulb we are on day 6 of a cold. I'm starting to wonder about ear infection too. We have our 4 mo check up Friday so I'm trying to ride it out until then. No fever.

So those of you who did a BRU registry... Did you get your "endless earnings" gift card yet? It says to check your email approximately 12 weeks after due date... DS is 14 weeks old and still nothing :/ I mean I doubt it's going to be a huge amount but I still want it lol

I think i caught DS's cold, tomorrow is my first day back at work, not sure how i am going to manage to be on my game with zero sleep and a cold - yikes! let's hope DS gives me some long stretches of sleep tonight before we have to get up at 5:30
Whaaaat? k3am if they didn't show up until after your run. Wth was going on during your run? Yikes!
My restless legs returned with a vengeance during I's MOTN meal. Apparently BF'ing RLS is a thing. Says Google. Apparently spinach may also help. I started the day with some yoga and I'd love to get out for a jog today.
well, DS1 is having a rough week. only 1hr nap at daycare followed by over 90min of crying before bed, followed by another solid hour of crying overnight and he still woke up pretty much at his normal time. DH said daycare dropoff was a shit show.
It doesn't help that DH and I differ A LOT on how to handle these rough days. He thinks we need to just ride it out, let him cry, and I want to actually help him more and comfort him. To which it ends up being that we do go in several times to comfort him and he just gets worse when we leave, so maybe I shouldn't go in and it will last less time!
To makes matter worse, DH has a cold or really bad allergies, DS2 also has a little bit of a stuffy nose.
DH who usually is ON TOP of cleaning house hasn't lifted more than his pinky finger in the last few weeks. I feel like ALL the dishes, laundry and general cleaning are on me at all times. I had told him at at least Friday and Saturday night, while I am pumping he could do the dishes. nope, didn't happen! So then we wake up Saturday and Sunday morning to a dirty kitchen. And then who cleaned it all Sunday afternoon? ME! ugh, and the litter box was a fucking disaster. I love my cat, but I don't LIKE her. I'm done with her diarrhea and her vomiting. She's already on a super expensive diet, she's had a thousand tests done, we have tried 7 different foods and 4 vets can find NOTHING wrong with her. But she sure does puke and shit well!
I'm sleep deprived, hungry for cheese that I can't have, and annoyed.

Luckily I don't run on the street they were on.. Ummm.. Because I don't like the big roads and we kind of have an active "car sniper" in the area they haven't caught. He's shot at at least 10'cars in the last few months. Which they may have caught yesterday. It's unclear if the two are related.
Okay, now it really sounds like I live in he ghetto.
PS- Does anyone else's kid moan and groan in their sleep constantly? That hasn't great for my sleep either
Mine does. Or at least she used to. I honestly have no idea of she still does. I have my ac on right next to me to drown her out. Once it gets colder I plan to get a fan to convert her constant noises.

Have you tried magnesium for the RLS? It works like magic for me. I was able to stay off my Rx for it for almost 3 years because of magnesium.
For getting such little sleep last night I'm surpassingly awake right now. Hopefully it lasts. I don't know what was up with R last night, but going from having her first wake up around 5a to having her 5a wake up be her sixth was rough.
I'm excited for today, though. Tuesdays are our busy days. At 2p we have my psych clinician that comes and hangs out for an hour to make sure I'm doing alright. Then at 3p Healthy Families comes over to do exercises with R for an hour. Then at 4p the LC/nurse comes over to check on us and R gets weighed and measured! I'm really excited to see if she's taller. She's slowing down on weight, but maybe because she gotten so much taller lately!
Should be a fun day. And I'm so so so so glad that all these people come here instead of making me go out and meet them at their offices. So glad.

I laid DS down at 8pm last night wide awake. He would look like he was sleepily nursing then when I would sit him up to burp he would be wide awake. I finally got tired of trying to get him to sleep so I just laid him down and went to wash bottles assuming I would let him fuss for a bit before going back up there. Well he never really fussed and put himself to sleep. Say what??
Then he slept until 5:15 this morning. Crazy. Wish that would happen every night but I don't count on it.
Forgot extra clothes at work and of course this morning I soaked through my bra and tank top. I don't have any extra boob pads either so I stuck some paper towels in my bra. Then I had to go to an interview, fun! Total mom probs.
PS Traffic in Atlanta sucks, this is why I moved to the country. I probably gave some truckers a show since I pumped in the car and took it off while driving down the highway. Wahoo!

westiemom- We haven't done the crib much yet! I got a crib wedge and put that under the sheet. Put her in the Magic Merlin sleep suit for a couple naps yesterday that lasted 20 mins each or so!

Well, J has an ear infection. At least we caught it early. Also, I need to switch from the Target pharmacy. They are super nice and it's really convenient but every time I go I spend an extra $50.
