Tell me, what would your top 3 of all time books be?
Back story: DHs grandma is old 91, and we think she's going to go soon. Therefore, DHs mom has been asking grandma questions, then giving us all these random tidbits about her. One question was what are your top/favorite 3 books. (Her answers if you are curious are: Gone with the wind, Casablanca, and Harry Potter. Not sure if she ranked them in order, to me order doesn't really matter.) So what books make your top 3?

Also just off the top of my head, but..
1. War and Peace - by far the most "difficult" things I've read, but the beautiful descriptions of life and scenery were worth it, plus I loved some of the characters and felt so accomplished finishing it.
2. The Giver - I'm general I love stories about utopian and post-apocalyptic societies and this is one of my favorites.
3. Neverwhere - I love fantasy and this is one of the best.
This is tough! I guess I'd say: Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter series, and The Giver
Books that come close or would crack my top ten would include Adventures of Huck Finn, The Hobbit, A Farewell to Arms, any of the Laura Ingalls Wilder books

I had a hard time choosing between The Giver and Peter Pan.

carolyngrace have you read the Unwind Dystology? Really good dystopian series if you're into those!
I have not! Thank you, I'll check it out!
Author is Neal Schusterman. Our librarian recommended it to me for lit circles this year and I'm obsessed! I'm finishing the last book now. Let me know if you like it!
