theophania I kind of made it up, not sure I can replicate it... These recipes all seemed kind of similar to me, so I replaced some ingredients but I didn't measure, I just looked for consistency that I know works. Sorry, not so helpful! 2 cups oatmeal Almond flour (maybe 1/2 cup) Chickpea flour (a dash) Chia seeds (poured in a bunch - 4 tablespoons?) Ground flax (same though a little less) Brewers yeast (4 tablespoons) Coconut sugar (1/4 cup) Honey (1/4 cup?) Cocoa powder (3 tablespoons ) Choc chips (a lot!) 2 eggs 1 can coconut milk
Stir, scoop into muffin tins, bake at 400 for 30 min
So was hoping DS would give me his longer stretch without the need to be held tonight. Last night he went from 7-midnight sleeping on either DH or myself. I really want to break this habit. So tonight I feed him at 6:30 and woke him up at 8:30 to feed and try to put him to "bed" (RNP). I then went to bed at 9:30 so excited bc he was sound asleep and thinking I'd get until much later. He woke up at 10:15...
Well... first night by myself after 12 days with my sister here to help out with everything... she left earlier this evening and I am SO BUMMED... both kids are in bed, asleep... SO held baby while I got toddler settled. That might be the permanent solution until toddler learns better to put herself to bed. She still needs too much direct attention for now.
So. Now to figure this all out (again). I swear, my sister makes it all look easy. I just hope for some decent sleep tonight, and that motn diaper changes for baby don't wake up big sister.
And of course now is when I realize I haven't eaten in the last 8 hours. Ugh.

So I'm pretty sure that DD at five weeks old has a cold. DS started to feel under the weather late last week, then last night I started feeling it and tonight my H. And I noticed DD coughing and sneezing a lot, and now she sounds congested, poor babe. Anything to be done?
So basically instead of getting all the sleep that I hoped for I got none! DS really thinks I'm a milk machine/pacifier. Luckily he took an actually pacifier tonight...

DD3 at 6 weeks does too. She is not bothered, unless I use saline nasal drops and aspirate. Do you have a cool mist humidifier?
I see so many people talking about not being sure whether to wake their LO up to change their diaper and I'm over here wishing that was even an option! DS starts crying the minute he pees himself (seriously, he starts crying and we watch as the line on his diaper turns blue). I think he wakes up due to being wet more than because he's hungry. The only way he doesn't wake up is if he poops first... For some reason that doesn't bother him and then he can ignore the pee. Wierdo. It's so frustrating because he doesn't pee for a while after I feed him, so there's no way to do it before he falls back asleep. If he happens to eat a lot during a MOTN feeding, he often wakes up an hour later with a wet diaper. I just ordered some Bambo (?) diapers as I read they're extra absorbent and I really hope that makes a difference.
On the bright side, maybe he'll be easy to potty train one day if he hates wearing a wet diaper so much?
I'm way behind here, but we are dealing with a similar problem. DD wakes the second she has a wet diaper. DS never cared so this is new to us. We've used the bambo diapers in the past. They are really nice and I wish they were a little cheaper. Let me know if they help!
Ughhhh shots. She's been doing okay except the normal stuff she gets upset over has become more dramatic. Instead of waking up to her whimpering because she was getting hungry, it was yelling. She had gas earlier and screamed loud enough for H to wake up and run in.

My baby
Did your pedi suggest giving Tylenol if she felt uncomfortable? Might be worth a shot. Good luck. They do eventual become less effected by them (aside from initial pain and shock during) as they get older.

Hey there! I actually bought both Bambo and Babyganics diapers to try. What's annoying me about the Bambo ones is that the package says they have a wetness indicator, but I have never seen any part of the diaper change color! We even tested one and dumped water in it, but saw no changes. Have you seen it work?? I believe we're using size two. I still think they're fine to use overnight even if the indicator doesn't work, but DH hates it because he's now been peed on twice for opening up the diaper at the wrong time...

Mini-vent. Both wake ups so far DH has said "did I sleep through it? Did he wake up before this or is this the first/second time?" When I confirmed we were on the first (then second) wakeup, DH was all "whoa, that's awesome!!"
Um... We put the kid in the crib asleep at 12:20, he was up at 2:45, then we was back in there at 3:30 and woke up at 6. I'm not impressed by 2.5 hour stretches when he usually gives us at least 3 hours for the first one...
I am so tired. It's just been building all week. I've also been super emotional and crying over everything, which makes me more tired. Ugh.
Baby girl has been so difficult to put to sleep this week. It took me two hours tonight, including feeding her again, and I didn't even get her one longer stretch.
She is sick and also needs her reflux medicine increased, so I know that's probably why, but I am so tired.

Everyone's sick over here. I have headache, nasal congestion and that stupid dry unproductive tickly cough that always feels like it's in the back of your throat ready to trigger a fresh fit of uncontrollable coughing. I also can't sleep because I have baby propped up next to me on the snoogle instead of in her bassinet. If I lie her in there she has such a hard time and starts coughing/gasping/snuffling. So I can't sleep because I want to watch over her, of course. Tomorrow will be fun!!

Well we haven't gotten little miss to sleep yet tonight... so that's fun. I just fed her again and MH is holding her. I'm hoping she'll fall asleep soon... so tired.
Me (30) MH (32) Dx: MFI (low all the things) M. 10/11. TTC Since 01/14 IUI#1-3(Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN Second Opinion. Changed RE's. IVF 09/15 Long Lupron 12R/9M/8F, Transferred 1=BFN. 4 frosties. FET #1 12/15 Transferred 1 (3 still on ice)
DD has been asleep since about 8pm. We changed her and moved her around 10:30 hoping she'd wake so we could feed her and get the longer stretch of sleep when we were sleeping too. Nope. We just went to bed and she's beginning to stir.
Well tonight's a first. DS just slept from 10 until 2:45. I wonder if it has anything to do with me sleeping in another room with DH on baby duty until he was ready to eat. We've been trying to transition to crib without success..gets hiccups after eating and then wakes up. So brought him back in our room and then DH and I argued about the plan to move him..which resulted in him telling me to just sleep in spare room. Which I did! So either DS slept better bc I wasn't near him or DH didn't respond to every noise like I do. Either way I'll take it..good thing I moved up to next size in diapers haha.

My child is on a sleep alone strike. She literally wakes the second I put her down... so I've gotten no sleep tonight. Hopefully she changed her mind soon and let's me lay down.
Hope all of you are having a better night than me!

DH installed the new front door and didn't finish until super late. Then we ate dinner and hung out for a bit, didn't get to bed until about 1:30. Then this kid decided he wanted to eat at 2:30 and 4:30. In guessing we'll be up at 6:30 too.
This babe and I will both be napping Monday for sure.
