I woke up mid-dream today, and was totally confused. I thought it was Sunday. Wished it was Sunday. Thought about going in late, but I have 2 major things due today. 😕

I actually packed my lunch and all the snacks today!!!

Grilled chicken, nuts, hard boiled egg, carrots, grapes, string cheese, yogurt and pudding. Yum. I purposely brought stuff I can eat separately bc eating "meals" isn't really working for me right now.

I was a total special snowflake at dinner last night bc I hate grilled food suddenly.

My pants fit again, but I kind of just like the Bella band, so I'm rocking it.

My H has been laughing at me when I'm annoyed at him. He thinks my mood swings are "cute." I maintain these aren't mood swings and occasionally have tears in my eyes from the frustration of trying to express that I'm just really very mad and this isn't hormones. (Yep- totally hormones.)

I can't think of anything else.

The trend of houses smelling like death continues for me. I guess Friday night one of the dogs found... well lets just say that it was in the garbage DH was supposed to take out after I left, because it was clean out the fridge day.

The house smells like nasty. Not only that, but said dog (who wasn't supposed to be in the house at all) also slept on my couch. Couch smells like nasty, which I didn't realize until I sat on it.

I had a terrifying dream last night that DH killed my boss. Couldn't sleep after. Now I'm wearing super cool knee socks with shorts on my first flight home.

glb30, Those snacks sound amazing. And after I popped the button off my favorite pair of old (worn out) pants, I've just been wearing maternity jeans. I've lost a tiny amount of weight and there's no reason to wear them, other than I want to.

I'm up and about to make some breakfast. I'm going to take DS to the splash pad today because he ran to it last night when we went to the park. I love our splash pad I hate that it's always crowded.

Clara woke up at 11:30 with another nightmare. She went back to sleep and then the alarm went off which felt like 5 minutes later. Happy Monday. 😕

This morning I heard my dog pawing at the floor and acting weird across the room from me. I got up to investigate and in the dark early morning light thought I saw a hairball from the cat. I went to grab toilet paper to pick it up and throw it away when I saw that the little hairball was...wiggling. Turns out it was a little mouse. I put it in a cup and took it outside to release it.

Ick.

renegadewhit your story about getting annoyed retelling the story made me laugh. I've totally been doing that lately...also, I'm glad the repairs will be under 5K!

@fearsy Why would a hospital ban VBAC?! Aren't they safer than another c-section most of the time? (If I'm wrong please educate me)

mosdub my cat likes to bring stuff in and play with it. If it's a bird she usually just eats it, but rodents (mice, rabbits, the occasional opossum) are apparently just toys. Gross

My cat is an indoor cat, but we have an old unfinished basement and it seems we occasionally have a mouse find its way into the house.  I keep some traps in the basement and every so often catch one, but the cat sometimes beats me to it and brings them upstairs.  Once he put one in my bed.  Still alive.

Hi! I haven't been around for a couple weeks because I just needed a break. After my ultrasound and moving the due date I was feeling kind of down about my pregnancy even though I expected the date to be later than by LMP. I just had a really bad feeling and needed to step back from everything. Around the same time I also started feeling really sick and was struggling to take care of myself and my DS. There was a lot of lying on the couch and watching Olympics trying to convince myself everything was okay with baby 2 and that DS would be okay despite my inability to give him the attention he needs right now.


Anyway, I'm going to try to be around again and hope you've all been having a better last couple weeks than I have. Thanks for reading if you got through all that.

Today is our first day of school and I was visiting one my SPED classrooms. One of my non-verbal students (he's 6) looked up at me and lightly set his hand on my belly while looking up at me. And he just stared at me. I feel like he just KNOWS, and my mind is blown.

The A/C was kicking in my house and I got cold, so I took a nap in the hammock outside. One half of one thigh was exposed to sun and now it's all red and blotchy. Going to lazily get ready for my ultrasound. I feel really nauseous and I think it's morning sickness but maybe some of it is anxiety.

Fearsy, Aww I'm sure most here know I want to try for a VBAC.. so glad I can if we make that choice. But, my mother-in-law is a labor and delivery nurse and she is COMPLETELY against them. I think it all revolves around having a good doctor.

AFM: Today has been normal..a little work, a little cleaning, etc.

You've been warned..DD and I went grocery shopping this afternoon. When we got home, she smelled like she pooped, but I didn't feel anything, and I never heard her go (it's usually quite a production). I went to change her and O.M.G. What is normally relatively-too solid and plops easily into the toilet, was almost liquid and covered 100% front to back. It took almost a dozen wipes. I came SO close to just calling it a loss and thorwing out the cloth diaper. It took me 10 mins to spray that sh*t in the toilet (vs the usual 15 seconds), then I had to clean the freaking toilet. I don't know if she ate something that didn't agree with her or what (she's acting fine otherwise), but holy cow am I glad I wasn't feeling particularly sick when that happened!

In other news, I'm meeting that preemie mom to donate the rest of my pumped milk to her. I'm so glad to be able to help her, but I'm really sad to be emptying my freezer! I'm going to hang onto a couple bags just in case, and because I have separation issues. I must keep reminding myself that in 7 short months I will be filling my freezer up again (hopefully)!

Hi! Still on our weekend getaway in a cabin in the woods! Hence why I've been pretty Mia all weekend and today. We're still here one more night tonight then back home tomorrow. I'll probably be back to my normal posting self in Wednesday!
