I think we might go to the fair tonight...I have never been to the one near my house, but MH grew up going. I love fairs. We really should stay home, eat a hello fresh meal, and not spend any money...but...baby animals and fried dough might win out on this one.

My kid has pink eye. Third time this month I have had to stay home with him because contagious.

oh no!! hope kiddo gets over it quickly.

I am someone who gets pink eye if I am within a mile of someone with it...seriously.  My old co-worker used to make fun of me b/c I get strep and pinkeye way too much for someone who doesn't have a kid.

I did a hill workout last night so my legs are a little tender this morning. I'm excited about tonight's run at the brewery. I haven't had a drink since Saturday so I'm very much looking forward to it.

Last night H and I went to the mall and saw a sign advertising their Mall Walkers club for fitness, and I may have seriously wished that the times worked for me. Walking around the mall with ostensibly a bunch of old ladies sounds like fun to me for some reason lol.

I would totally enjoy that.

Once I did a 10K, but I was planning to walk a bunch of it (because I am not a runner by any means) and I ended up falling in with a group of old ladies who were walking...I was planning to run a lot more than I did, but they were just too funny to leave.  It was a blast (though I think MH thought I had gotten lost or died along the way with how long it took...even though these women walked pretty darn fast)!

I love blooming onions and funnel cakes at fairs. They are the reason I go.

I used to bowl in a local-ish small bowling alley with a whole bunch of old ladies. It was HILARIOUS! Sometimes they got crazier then some of the "parties" I went to in college. They were awesome and it was sad when the alley closed down.

Mine is on Monday. I usually walk in to a whole bunch of older people as well.

I'm that one person everyone around here hates who is wishing fall upon us soon because holidays!!

I moved my Halloween decs to the bottom of the attic stairs because I'm nuts and want them up already. I saw a cute thing at TJMaxx (well, my morbid self might be the only one who thinks it was cute) -- it was a little coffin with bride & groom skeletons inside. I was like, "Babe, this is us!!" H wasn't into it. He is no fun.

Hello! My boss is back from her two week vaca so I can't TCF from work anymore. 😩

wannabmama, I saw a 3hr old calf when I went to our fair in Saturday. He was still all wobbly.

Sorry about the pink eye mambo, that's no fun.

BabyStandish, I drink out of Christmas mugs all year long. I think there are four of them in my cupboard.
