Are you talking about Amber necklaces or the silicone ones that Moms wear and babies chew on?
The amber ones
ahhh those are pretty controversial. All scientific research says they don't work, but I know lots of Moms IRL who have had success with them. Hmmmm I'd be open to try it but MH wouldn't let me since science says no
So surprise surprise - baby girl smiled big at me today and BAM she's got a raised white spot on her lower gum. I expect that tooth to pop through over this long weekend. No wonder why she is beyond drooling and I noticed an increase of chewing this morning. Didn't think anything of it since big sister got her 1st tooth at 9 months! She seems to be hand eking it just fine though which is nice.
I see two buds on the bottom center. He's been drooling like crazy, constantly shoving his hands in his mouth, spitting up more, running a low grade fever, and is less fussy when we give Tylenol. DD got her first tooth around 4 months too so I'm guessing they'll be in soon!
No necklaces on kids, period. Amber isn't magical.
J didn't get his first tooth until 7 months, but little miss A has a hard spot on her lower gum already. This might explain the fussiness lately. Or it could be a leap or a growth spurt, or maybe it's just that she's a baby.
