Ugh. We got an email that our preschool teacher quit and they haven't been able to find a replacement yet so school isn't going to start on time. I feel so sad for Ds1 because he loved his teacher and he's already had so much upheaval in the last few months with a new baby and two different new nannies.
DS (our little Clomid miracle) born Sept. 25, 2012 Baby #2 lost at 8w3d on March 4, 2015 (EDD Oct. 11, 2015) Baby #3 lost at 5w2d on April 16, 2015 (EDD Dec. 15, 2015) Baby #4 lost at 4w1d on May 20, 2015 (EDD Jan. 25, 2016) DS2 (our little rainbow miracle) born May 25, 2016
Uterine fibroids (removed by robotic myomectomy 11/14) and past removal of L ovary/tube d/t ovarian torsion (4/99). New diagnosis of endometriosis (5/15)
Last teacher workday! School starts Monday. Classroom is almost ready. Syllabus copied. Mentally I'm not ready AT ALL.
BUT DS slept 8 hours last night (9-5) and DD only woke up once to pee and went right back to bed and woke up dry this morning.
AND DH has been SUPER helpful lately and not complaining about getting up or anything. I think he wants some sexy time. He's doing a good job of buttering me up lol
Pissed and resentful at DH right now. At 4:30 the dog woke me up to go outside ...I know it's because MH dumped a bunch of leftover chicken in her bowl late at night when we were cleaning up after dinner. Then the baby woke up after the dog was whining and I had to shush her back to sleep.
Hubby sleeps in the guest room during the week so none of this affects him. And I've asked him before not to dump leftovers in her bowl, especially late at night. Pissed!

westiemom, enjoy lady!! I hope you have a great birthday!
I felt like this week would never end. I'm off on Fridays and just want to snuggle with my babe. My parents and sisters are leaving to go on vacation for a week and I'm jealous. But, I couldn't leave work and I wasn't comfortable flying with DS at this age. Next year though...
A little fussy but nothing major. Otherwise smiling, nursing, everything seems normal. His "extra fussiness" could just be that I'm looking for extra fussiness haha

westiemom Happy birthday! I hope you have a wonderful time.
My classes started Wednesday and I am hoping I can stay on top of everything. Sadly it may mean being around here less.
Good luck with your classes! Check in whenever you can but don't stress about it. And know we are all here thinking of you and rooting for you
I am sure I will sneak time on here when I first wake up or am up with my last pumping session aka when my brain is mush. I am really excited to be taking early literacy since it can be directly applied to the triplets and I need a brush up on current best practices.

Not going to lie I really wished I had gone back to school to do more with literacy courses. I took a couple in college and loved them.
Going back to work yesterday wasn't that bad. I got a workout in before work, had a decent day at work, ate lunch while it was hot, and took DD for a run after work. Today, there will be margaritas after work.
Has anyone participated in a children's consignment sale? I have some stuff I'd like to purge but I'm debating if it's too much hassle for too little money.
So because its nearing the weekend and I'm paranoid.

DS Is still hovering around mid 99 for temperature. He's eating fine, plenty of wet and dirty diapers. Seems more or less okay, however he slept 7 hours last night (not unheard of but unusual). Then he's been napping most of the day. I just had to wake him up to nurse because he had been napping for almost four hours. He sounds possibly a little hoarse but doesn't seem to be having issues with congestion.
H thinks he fine. I know if I call they will want me to bring him in to be safe. I don't want to bring him in if I'll be told to KOKO but I don't want to ignore something.

So tell this ftm what you'd do and help me relax.
I'd call and bring him in if they want just to be sure. then you don't have to worry about it or being paranoid that something is really wrong. Peace of mind is priceless, imo. especially when it comes to my kids.
teraiin - DS regularly runs in the 99.whatever (by our thermometer). We don't worry too much about it much unless he's not acting like himself.
For me, I wouldn't take him. It would mean taking him to the clinic, exposing him to germs (there is nothing germier than a doctors clinic!), and probably being sent home and told to just keep an eye on him and give him saline.
I'm about 100% sure that's the advice our nurse line would give.
That being said, I have forced appointments when the advice line says just watch and see, pretty much for my own comfort.

teraiin, my MIL is a pediatric nurse and has always cautioned me that bringing a semi sick baby to the Drs office runs the risk of exposing them to more germs when their immune system is already down. If it doesn't seem to be impacting them greatly, I usually try to ride out low grade fevers and other illness at home before going in. But then again I also have MIL who comes over and checks them out too so it's a bit of an unfair advantage....

I'm twiddling my thumbs over here. These kids are wicked sleepy today. Guess I shouldn't complain haha. I'll just think out loud to you... Groceries tonight, looking after another babe tomorrow morning while the Dads go for a run, then baby I's baptism is Sunday with a big ol family party!

I, personally, would just monitor. There is nothing they can do for him right now. And they will either tell you he has a little bug or he doesn't. If he's still eating well and acting pretty normal there isn't much to worry about right now. I know anytime my ds1 got a fever I would panic, Google everything and then question myself a million and one times before it went away. Fever is not a bad thing, you don't always wants to treat it! Of course if he stops eating or becomes lethargic or extremely fussy you should take him in.
