- How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? 11.5 mo ID girls
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? Going ok, we've been dealing with the sickness fun that comes along with starting daycare. And working mom guilt. Other than that they're so much fun, I feel like their personalities are really starting to shine through. 1 year checkup will be a few weeks late in late Sept.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? They've kind of started... fighting? I guess that's what I'd call it. I asked about sharing recently and obviously that's still a struggle, but I've noticed them kind of acting aggressively towards each other sometimes. Anyone else deal with this this young? Kills me to watch and I don't know how to handle it.
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? Nah, we're on track to transition to WCM after their bday.
- QOTW: Inspired by @elvenqueen's confession earlier this week, tell us something random/interesting/weird/shocking about you. Haha usually when I get asked this I say I have identical twins but that's just plain boring over here! Let's see...H and I lived in Dubai for a while before we had kids.

Squishy622 I hope your girls are recovering. Working mom guilt is terrible! @feegan DS1 went through a quick phase about a month after he started walking where he would crawl. I think they are just trying to figure out what's more efficient. B has kind of gone back to rolling this week and she has been crawling for a few weeks now.

- How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? We hit 8 months this coming Tuesday!
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? 9 month appointment will be at the end of Sept. L is standing while holding onto things and can shuffle around the living room holding onto the couch with one hand. B can crawl but has been rolling this week (I really dislike the rolling). I got a push walker out this week and they both took off so I put it away haha.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Okay no judging: How often do your kids get baths? DS1 is about 2.5 and gets a bath every night and I feel like we started this when he started eating solids, but with these 2 I aim for every other night to every 3. I wipe them down after every meal and of course they get baths after swimming but is that enough?
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? nope
- QOTW: Inspired by @elvenqueen's confession earlier this week, tell us something random/interesting/weird/shocking about you. Wow I'm going to sound boring,I don't really have anything... I guess I've done the AZ rock and roll 1/2 marathon every year since it started except for the years I was pregnant/recently PP.

- How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? Boy/girl, 13 months today!
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? Dr appt to catch up on one vaccination in a week and a bit. Nothing majorly new going on here. A is kinda kicking it up a notch with babbling, I'm still eagerly anticipating first words. We're doing lots of dancing, which I'd been really looking forward to, it's effing adorable.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Nothing comes to mind!
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? You hear a lot about the MAX amount of milk (WCM) babies should consume in a day. What about a minimum for +1 year? I'm trying to go with the flow as much as possible and trust that E takes all she needs, but some days I can barely get more than 8 ounces in her. She eats very well so I'm not totally worried, we do a lot of calcium rich alternatives... Can I chill out, do you think?
- QOTW: Inspired by @elvenqueen's confession earlier this week, tell us something random/interesting/weird/shocking about you. I've got some real gems, lol. My favourite one is something I've likely mentioned before anyway, but there's a 20 year age difference between my husband and I. And only a 10 year age difference between my SD and I.

elvenqueen I feel like I reference my oldest a lot but with DS1 our pedi said that we want to focus on good fats and calcium. Basically as long as he was getting calcium from other sources we were good.

@feegan good to know I'm not alone in the bath department. It is a lot of work right now because they aren't big enough to hold their own with DS1 in the bath too so I end up doing about 45 minutes of bath time when all 3 need one.
elvenqueen MH is 24 years older than me and his sons are 7.5 and 11 years younger than me. However, they are behind their ages in social development and I've always been ahead, so the gap seems much larger.
- 11 months, b/g
- Their one-year checkup is three weeks from Monday. R and G are doing well cruising. G wants to walk really badly and R just doesn't care. Crawling is faster. Daycare is trying to get him interested in walking, but I don't think it's going to work. He'll do it when he damn well pleases.
- Solids are our struggle right now, as in getting enough into them and giving them more than chunky purees. R often doesn't feel like feeding himself.
- QOTW: I don't think I'm terribly exciting. Ummmm... I have a black belt in Japanese jujutsu, though I haven't gotten to practice since the babies were born

My first POM check in!
- How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? 16 days, BG
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? Appointment today was mostly good. Babies are gaining weight really well. M has some minor torticollis so the pediatrician showed us some stretches. The only concern is that G tested positive for something on the newborn screen. The pediatrician thinks it is likely a false positive and is rechecking but of course I'm nervous.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Not right now
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? Not right now
- QOTW: I'm so bad at this question! I guess I don't think I'm that interesting
This is my first POM check in also but I had a question.
Boy/girl twins turned 1 a few weeks ago.
Their 15 month appt is in a couple months. We're keeping an eye on Danny to see how his gross motor skills improve.
My question is about naps. Both have been on the same nap schedule 9-10:30 and 1:30-3:30. Their second nap my oldest naps with them. I LOVE this schedule. But boy twin isn't having it anymore. He staying up for more than an hour after I put him down. And then he barely sleeps for half an hour. In the meantime he wakes up his sister. And girlfriend is CRANKY because she requires her sleep. If he weren't a twin, I'd just put him down a bit later but I'm trying to keep them on the same schedule. And the added bonus was that all 3 napped at 1:30 so I'm hesitant to switch to a schedule where I don't get that 2 hour break. Advice?
QOTW: something that's not too exciting in this part of town, but I had three kids under the age of 2 for a while.
10 month bg twins! 2 months left of formula yay!!!!
W is *this close* to walking. She'll stand unassisted for 5-10 seconds before getting really excited, waving her arms, and plopping on her butt. Last week she very deliberately pulled her hands from the wall and took a step towards the bathroom (before collapsing in a very shakey, whimpering heap). She is otherwise zooming around the house with anything she can push in front of her and walking along walls, sofas, etc with one hand for balance. She claps like crazy, has a really quick, huge smile, and is OBSESSED with giving kisses. A is pulling up like a champ (he was really struggling with his right foot). Once he's up, he's moving along furniture and baby gates pretty quickly, although not confident enough to try cruising along walls or using one hand, even though he's much more stable than his sister. He is still working on clapping (he does it just not confidently), but he waves now and has an amazing laugh. He is still behind his sister but man has he been working hard these past few weeks to catch up! We're noticing some majorly different personalities. W is fearless and fast but is very attached to mama where A is more cautious and thoughtful but very independent. I'm just such a proud mama these days!
Qs: I posted mine as a separate post. My early riser/ late sleeper combat is really effing with their schedule
Feeding: kinda feeding related, but A still struggles with gas and can't handle a lot of green veggies. Zucchini and peas are ok, but that's about it, any suggestions or thoughts on what veggies to feed him other than carrots and sweet potatoes? Corn is NOT an option (and not really a veggie but whatevs).
QOTW: most of my friends know me by various pseudonyms- I've been a camp counselor, played roller derby, and met a lot of people through online forums like this. It's fun, and really funny when I run into them in a more formal setting and they can't remember my actual name.
schmella what about green beans? There are some pouches that have spinach, one of our favorites is plum that has peas, spinach and I think pears.
Nope, green beans trigger the WORST gas. Our pedi said we should avoid green veggies entirely until we wean from formula because it's so bad. We got a pass on zucchini & peas because he's never reacted but everything else leads to screaming sleepless nights.
richzep, have you tried cutting his morning nap short? I obviously have no experience and lately afternoon nap fights happen on the daily, but that's where my instinct would go
schmella he's only sleeping for like half an hour for his morning nap. He's in bed much longer singing and playing but when he finally sleeps, it's just for a bit.

richzep, This is kind of the pattern that E followed right before she was ready to drop a nap. I started moving the naps later; morning nap was later and longer, afternoon nap was later and much much shorter, just a catnap, and then it just went. It's not fun having a once perfect and well-timed schedule suddenly blow up.
Triplets are doing ok. They are 10 months/7 months. Nat had her surgery Friday so it was an awful weekend. She did great with the surgery and had no issues with the intubation. Just crazy fussy all weekend poor thing. But on a good note Gracie is crawling and Nolan is super close as well. My surgery is Friday so I'm trying to get everything ready and organized since I can't hold the babies or lift anything for a few days after.
