Today I have my cousins' baby shower. I went to target to get diapers for ds and got her a few small things off her registry. Plus liquid chalk. She has a baby chalkboard on her list. One of the moms on my other bmb uses liquid chalk and the results are much better. Like this:

Anyone planning on doing this? Or has done it? With DS I wasn't aware of all these fun ways to capture milestones. And with #2 I'd rather not do more than with the #1, don't want to feel guilty of playing favorites. If that makes sense.
littlelion I love all those chalkboard things but I'm not creative enough to do them. I want to do something with the baby but I'm not sure what.
I have acupuncture this morning then nothing else all weekend. MIL was supposed to come visit but can't(oh darn). I'm hoping it will be a restful weekend.

Hello Ladies..getting ready for my trip tomorrow. I have to be at the airport at 5:45 am...hooray.
But I did get sushi for lunch...num. Its fully cooked.
Oh and well I picked up the book I wanted to read...so free time without lil bit means mommy book time. I also scheduled a prenatal massage at the spa at the resort.
My book:
Ohh and we took the boat out early...DD and dh driving the lake...lol the glasses.

PSA: I didn't know this was so easy but we had several electronic things that needed to be disposed of and in a small apartment that means space that could otherwise be used (or empty for playing) and we finally loaded a bag today and dropped it off at Best Buy. They will recycle it all for you! So great!
Continuing our productivity kick, I bought drawer dividers for the baby's dresser and DH checked to make sure he has enough paint and supplies to paint the walls we aren't wallpapering in the new baby's nursery.
We were all exhausted from walking around and took a long nap! Dropping DS off at a play space tonight for a bit -- thinking a walk and a little ice cream with DH would be nice.

Today we had both DD's birthday party. We'd done individual things with each but made them have 1 big party with friends and family. It was so nice to only do the party one time b
@kc295905, I miss real sushi so much. There is a place near us that has a "mom to be" sushi menu, but it just isn't the same.
DH and I were planning on going to a concert tonight, but I've been vomiting all day. Guess I can't go without my Diclegis yet Now we're lounging around and trying to decide what movie to rent.
I'm just hanging out this weekend. School starts up again for me next week, so I'm trying to get some relaxing in while I can. I must be crazy taking two classes while working full time and taking care of two kids while pregnant. FI and I also had a discussion about how he would like to start working more. He currently stays home with the kids. His parents have offered to watch them twice a week, and I was looking for childcare options for another three days. I want to cry at the prices that I'm getting quoted. $70 per day for each kid? And in-home daycare isn't even any better! Ugh.
We're in Charleston for a weekend getaway. But after a long day of travel and a lot of walking, we're at the hotel in bed watching The Hunger Games. Talk about a party.
Today I slept until 10:30 AM and did not even leave the house. Enjoying the days I have left where I can still do stuff like this I also finally finished the damn baby registry and drew up some room-layout plans for the kid's room. Yay productivity!
