My brother and SIL are having their first baby. I want to get them thier baby bath tub but I never used one with either kid. We have the Angel Care bath seat/lounger thing ( we didn't have room to store a bathtub in our condo with DD1). So let me know what's out there, what works and what's worth the money

I have the 4moms infant tub and love it, I also bought this spongy thing to use when he was really little and kind of too small for the tub, will find a link and add

I have a friend that has this and says his 6 month old is growing out of it and is now looking for an inbetween tub? How long do infants last in infant tubs? Do they all get small around this age? I never had this issue using the lounger and I think I just put her in the normal bath tub once she could sit up on her own reliably around 7 months?

I'm not sure, but he will def grow out of it in a couple of months, I just figured all infant tuba were the same and I would put him in the regular tub next

We have a tub and it was great when she was small enough for a sling but she outgrew that around 3 mos and now we are in an awkward stage where she can't really use the tub anymore. One of us holds her and the other bathes her. I wish we had the angel care one!

What tip do you have? I think I'm leaning towards the Fisher Price brand ones. They say they go to toddler tubs which will be good for them. Thier current living situation has a shower, no tub. They want to be moved out by next Christmas but you never know and the baby will be about 14 months by then.
We have the Primo bath tub which was actually a hand me down from my SIL. It has worked for both kids starting at like 6 weeks and my 2.5 year old actually chose to use it the other night and still fit. Before 6 weeks we used the Puj tub that fits in the sink.

We have a the Fisher Price Whale tub. No complaints, it won't last is much longer than 6/7 months though.
+1. We had it for DS1, lasted until he was about 9mo!
Have been using it with DS2 since he was about 1mo old. It's great. First they lay on the incline, and then once sitting up you take the "bump" off and they can sit in it comfortably!
We also tried the Puj tub and absolutely hated it!

Another vote for the Fisher Price whale tub. www.fisher-price.com/en_US/brands/babygear/products/Precious-Planet-Whale-of-a-Tub I love how cute it is! We used it on the kitchen counter for a while and then eventually when my son was older I put it in the bathtub. He could sit up, but I was still nervous in the tub that he would hit his head.

We have this tub. I don't think it's worth the extra money for vibrating feature. It didn't help much with DD. Looooves it with the sling though.

I got the whale tub handed down from my sister for DS and I love it. When he gets too big I'll just lay him in the tub with a small amount of water until he can sit up. That's what I did with DD.
