So with the start of the new school year, DS1 will be moving into the 3 year old room. There are two. It looks like his class is going to one teacher and DS1 is going to the other. I literally don't recognize any of the names on the list. I'm kind of upset over it. I'm already worried about him changing teacher but now he also won't be with the kids he normally plays with.
skinandbones I would maybe ask how the transition will happen. It might be easier if he meets the teacher before. But then again he did better transitioning to the new center than you expected, didn't he?

skinandbones I would say you know your son best. So if you think the transition might be too difficult for him, then definitely question it. Maybe start by identifying the temperament traits in YS that may make this challenging and ask if there would be anyway he might be able to move to a group with peers he is comfortable with. If you don't feel he will actually do that badly with the move, then definitely ask how the transition will take place in order for it to feel comfortable and smooth for everyone (YS and the teachers) . Has he started visits? Have the new teachers been visiting his group? Etc. GL!

I am so tired after M's shit sleep last night. Heading to bed now. DH is off until next Tuesday and we are going on a mini family vacation tomorrow -Friday. Heading to Buffalo and Niagara Falls for baseball, sight seeing, shopping and Family time. I'm really looking forward to it! Especially since DS1 seems to be excited and I feel like I've hardly spent anytime with him this summer. Night nite!

I'm drinking. W has a virus or a reaction to his mmr. Regardless he has a fever and is super fussy. I've got a migraine and I'm not sure if w will be contagious this weekend so we may be cancelling his party. What a fucking cluster fuck of a week.

Poppy got a fever and was sick and fussy a few days after her mmr. It only lasted a day. FX that's what it is for W and it passes quickly. Poor mama.

MH got to the YMCA at 3AM to wait in line for a place on the waitlist for daycare for September 2017. I just got here to trade off with him. There are about 30 people ahead of us. Aaack! Fingers crossed that not all of them are parents of 2's to be and lots are 3's and 4's to be. Last year 12 2's made it off the waitlist.
