Midweek! After school yestetday, we went to ChuckECheese & met Dh there on his way home from work vs waiting for him to come home & go together to save on time since it's about 20-25min away. I was able to get by without telling ds where we were going & explaining surprises are fun because he asks a billion questions. He was crazy excited when he realized we were there & then seeing daddy show up as soon as we pulled in. The place was empty! Only started getting some people when we were wrapping up for the day. We then went to TRU for their bday thing & ds picked out a toy since he had 3 bucks from them. When we got home, I kept the car in front of the garage & opened it. Ds had the balloon tangled on his leg so the surprise in there was a late start. Lmfao I had his bike parked in the middle with a balloon tied on each handlebar. His mouth dropped. It was adorable. ❤ I'd say he had a great bday although going to sleep was kind of a process but understandable with the excitement.

Yea this weather has been either rainy or humid lately. Only a few days have been comfortably warm. This doesnt help my thought of walking to school. One day dammit! Actually, Friday seems nice for now. Maybe we'll do it then with Dh since he has off.

Went & got my migraine meds. Hoping it eases soon. I'm currently in that in between stage where it can go either way so kind of just sitting here afraid to move.

Last week I saw the anesthesia for my surgery's EOB get rejected by insurance. Cue heart attack. Emailed them to ask wtf. They said it was a mistake & for some reason it wasn't flagged for payment since my surgery was approved. Saw the EOB today. Paid. Thank jeebus. Our deductible is high enough without an extra 2500+.
I had my first practical training day for school. Good thing: I actually enjoyed being around kids all day (worked in education, but not with kids so that was one of the main unknowns in going for an primary school license) The class combines two years, so now at the start of the year there are both 9 and 10 year olds. I think I love them. I saw it's quite hard to for the teacher to get everyone's instruction in and pay attention to the part of the group that is working independently. She had very little time to individually help, because she was almost always instructing one part of the group or another.
Bad thing: just called my parents to chat about my first day, and found them very sad because the woman next door, who they are close to (minding each other's house/pets when they are on vacation etc) suffered a hemmorage in the brain and cannot be saved.

Omg ds gave me a heart attack. He didn't have his glasses on & had no idea why or where he left them. Ended up being in his backpack. Who knows why. He is of no help in the communication department. 😕
