I got M to eat this morning. He refused dinner and milk last night and started refusing again this morning. Distracted him with Sesame Street and got him to eat and finish his milk. I'll take it.
Thanks for the reminder to shift perspective ampaints!
So my win is that I'm currently watching webinars for work and am feeling my passion for learning re-emerging! The last one was Dr. Stuart Shanker talking about Self Regulation. He is such a dynamic speaker! Currently watching Dr. Nathan Fox discussing Impact of Early Trauma on the Brain. I would love to do more learning regarding the brain. It is so fascinating!!

It's pay day! That's always a win. And crossing my fingers that our major Wednesday win (or really, early Thursday win) will be securing a spot for P for 2017 for the YMCA early childcare program. Last year 12 toddlers her age got in. It will save us lots of $$$$$! MH is getting in line for sign up at 3AM tomorrow and I'm tagging him out at 5:30AM. We are motivated!

The piranhas are taking an appropriatedly-lengthed nap for once so I have managed to prep their lunch, make myself some veggie soup, do some dinner prep, sit down and eat, watch some TV, and relax. And they're still sleeping!
After 9 years of medical training (not even counting undergrad and my research years) today was my last day of fellowship. I'm taking off the next two months to study, maybe travel, move and be a mom.
shellyr I know this is a big transition for you. I hope it brings nothing but wonderful experiences and amazing opportunities. Enjoy this next month with C!

DH is done work for the season and back to being a student. This means all day as I'm thinking about meal planning and food I can text him "can you check if we have beef? Do we have pumpkin purée?" And on and on. With no pressure to clean or do laundry I get to spend tonight baking
I finally was able to take C to sing along time at the library. We went twice today. I'm having way more fun doing mom stuff with her than I thought possible.
