Pumping is going pretty well, I pump at work and LO nurses at home. I have days that I produce more than others, I have to keep up my water intake above 120 oz, anything lower drops my supply. I also can't diet and I am hungry all the time!
What I am pumpin at work has slowly gone down since I started back in November. My morning pump that was extra when I started is now needed to get enough for LO.
I'm with you one the part refrigeration! I also now keep a set of spare parts at work since I forgot them one time. I'm a teacher, so forgetting parts is a big deal because I can't leave and I only have so many breaks to pump. My wonderfully amazing assistant principal got someone to cover my class once my parents dropped my parts off!
How is pumping going? It's going okay. I am pretty much EP (occasionally LOs nurses, usually more comfort nursing or snack)
Any concerns issues? My supply keeps dropping. Oatmeal helps to bring it back up, but I'm sick of the extra calories that involves for me (I don't like oatmeal so I'm trying oatmeal cookies, granola etc).
I am thinking about trying to get my supply up a several ounces more than LO eats and build my freezer stash some more and then if it drops again, just supplement from my stash or use formula. I think it's going to be quite a while before LO will get too much from solids and I don't know how long I am going to last with pumping. I'm pretty happy to have made it this far.
Anything that working well to share? I finally started refrigerating and reusing my pump parts, what a welcome break to only wash pump parts/bottles every other day or so!
Right now I only pump at work. I don't like it, it is a PITA to plan my work day around it. I get 8-12 ounces total. I have a decent sized freezer stash, and now that DS is starting solids it makes me feel better that I am not pumping as much.
I need to start drinking more water in general, I am sure that will help me.

DoesItComeInPink, I will say that the Gatorade trick really really worked. I got 8 more ounces after drinking gatorade.....maybe a fluke....but it has worked three days in a row! My supply TANKED trying to do the Whole30....so I have been trying to bring it back up.
I hate pumping because I have to use my break times to pump...I used to exercise/go running so I am feeling a little bit lazy.

Hope all you ladies are doing okay!
drinking gatorade now, so we'll see what happens. My guess is with the gatorade you have to keep drinking it to keep boosting your supply?
I was doing awesome until LO got a stomach bug a couple of weeks ago. My supply tanked because he wasn't eating much for 3 days. I tried to pump periodically at home but I don't think it was enough. It's still enough that I'm not pulling from my stash, but I have absolutely no extra. I already eat oatmeal every morning, and starting today I'm going to add 50% to my water intake to try to boost it a little. I may have some lactation shakes in my near future!
(Not that I would mind pulling, but I start a new job with longer hours in late March and I'm doing everything I can to keep my freezer stash until then. I'm sure at that point I'll be pulling from it.)
How is pumping going? It is going well. I don't like it, but i am pumping more each week day than what DD takes at daycare, so I am building up a nice freezer stash.
Any concerns issues? Not at the moment.

vk, at work I put the pump parts that touch BM, and the bottles that I pump into, into the fridge rather than washing each time. Then I take them home and wash them all at night. It saves me time which is nice.

I need to learn your secrets about refrigeration.
I just put my pump parts in the fridge - I'm at home so I just leave them on the bottle and pull it out when I need to pump again and then i just change them once a day. I've heard of others putting them in plastic bags in the fridge (I am assuming because they store the bottles separate).
My LC had never heard of it and didn't recommend it, but I honestly can't see any reason it wouldn't work...
I do this as well. Makes my life just a little better.i know a lot of people who do it.

I do this too. I also bought an extra set of parts, so I only wash every other day. I'm also using the medela bags so I pump directly into those then can store it. I hate the bags, but I'm not having to wash bottles & transfer to bags once I'm home, so it saves a lot of time, making me hate pumping a little less.
My supply tanked this weekend and I couldn't figure out why. I thought for sure AF was coming. Turns out I forgot to take my bc thurs, fri, sat and sun (didn't think of taking it once!)... It doesn't make sense to me, but that's the only thing that was different this weekend.

I hadn't even thought of pumping directly into the bags! That's a really good idea.

I was using my insurance-issued pump til LO was about 4 months. I then rented a hospital grade pump and I was doing great with that until I got sick. My supply dropped drastically - I have two more days of antibiotics left, but I feel almost 100% recovered and my supply has still not bounced back. I'm returning the hospital grade pump and going back to the regular insurance-issued one. On Saturday I'll have made it to the six month mark that I was originally shooting for, so I have already accomplished that and I feel good about it. Since my supply dipped I've had to supplement with formula but I'm over feeling guilty about it.
