Today will be an errand day, have to go to the bank to sign some stuff for preschool board, library for new books and to pick up the prizes the kids won for the summer reading program, then heading to the town next door for lunch with my mom!
Thanks @poppyc8 and billyhorrible for the ideas! I always do a mini-ish cake specifically for DS, but the cupcakes are a sweet idea for everyone else. I would definitely have to order that out because I have no experience with fondant! My plan was to look at some pics of cakes with DS and have him point out what he likes. That will help me narrow it down.

holliberry28, this is so much to deal with in such a short time period. I'm so sorry everything seems to be falling on you at the same time. How terribly isolating and scary.
I'm not going to lie, I'm seriously frustrated with your husband right now, even though I have no personal stake in this and he had no way of knowing how off his timing was going to be. I just wish you had a support person by your side, and I know he's one of your better ones (even though he has his off moments too 😉)
I hope things are not as dark as they seem, and/or they start getting easier.

I'm so sorry, holliberry28, that is a lot of crap on your plate right now. I hope the doctors figure it an amazing treatment plan for your mom and the weeks your H is gone fly by.
Ummmm I just realized I am wearing the same dress to work that I wore 2 days ago. I feel so dumb.
Similarly, whenever I get home from work I always change into the same maxi dress. It's just so comfortable and I like it for lounging around the house. Except I always take the kids on a walk or to the park after dinner, so the people in the neighborhood probably think I only have one dress.

Thanks everyone...We found out it's stage 4 now so the goal isn't remission, it's to contain it. We are going to get a second opinion at Memorial Sloan Kettering. I hope they can offer different options; her current doctor barely looked my mother and sister in the eyes when talking to them today. Thank you for letting me to put this here. I'm going to hope for the best.

Has anyone gotten a 'toddler' carrier versus just still using the baby carrier? I feel like A is getting too big for ours. It doesn't support him as well anymore and it's starting to bother my back.
@weprestige, DH picked up takeout for us and he's got DS in the basement playing, S is asleep, and I'm eating and watching shark tank. Probably will drink and fold laundry later.

What do you have right now? (Brand, style, etc...)
