QOTW: I was just browsing restaurants for a place to meet a friend for dinner tonight. So, tell me, what's your favorite type of food?

This is my first time doing this check-in. We are 'trying' but my husband does not seem to want to take an active approach to trying. I am ovulating late this month, and he conveniently went to California for a job interview, which means we are out this month. I know he didn't do it on purpose but I am really upset about it.
Just busy with work and school. TTA has actually been fun. It's the first time in a while that it's just about H and I and it's been nice. School has been crazy busy but it's been interesting. I am a little annoyed with my students. I don't understand why no one is turning in their work on time. I've also gotten a lot of questions about what is due, but I'm pretty sure my syllabus was clear so guess we will be going over it again today....
QOTW: seafood. and cheese. And anything pumpkin. ok I just like food. LOL!
CALR: Not too much going on. We're natural cycle this month which at this point I don't have much hope for but since I'm on progesterone supps post-O I'll have to test this weekend so I know if I can stop. I really hate that part. I might call my RE and see about doing a medicated TI cycle just to be doing something whole we wait to do IVF in December, but since I've already done two IUIs with no success I don't even know if that's worth it, but I have to decide soon.
NCALR: just trying to truck through this semester. First big test on Monday so this weekend I'll be doing a lot of studying! We went out of town this weekend and had a lot of fun!
QOTW: I think my favorite is definitely Italian, but I really just love all food!
elephantmomma ((hugs)) TTC is hard. TTC with variables like travel suck.
elliecat17 I'm glad you are able to enjoy TTA! Your outlook always impresses me. Ugh! I swear people simply don't read thins anymore. If info isn't delivered on a silver platter, it's like it doesn't exist.
cali It never hurts to ask! FX your RE has some good input about a medicated TI cycle.
AFM, my polyp removal is tomorrow. I had my pre-op appointment today, and learned that depending on what my RE sees on hysteroscopy, I may also have a resection. I've known I have an arcuate uterus from previous saline sonograms, but at my most recent one, the PA took an agonizingly long time taking measurements and pics to judge "just how arcuate" it is. So, my ute may be "too arcuate" or I may have a small septum, in which case he'll do the resection as well.
QOTW: it definitely depends on my mood, but I love love love Italian. Give me all the penne alla vodka.
Ahh will update properly myself this weekend, but wanted to quicky wish you good luck birch113, though I think I'm too late already - so I hope all went smoothly?!

You're so sweet! All went well. I had three polyps removed. Also, my arcuate uterus turned out to be "too arcuate" so I also had a resection. The anesthesia seems to have hit me harder this time so I'm groggy, but my crampy is pretty mild right now. I hope you're doing well!
birch113, I'm so happy to hear all went well! Wishing you a smooth recovery!
Thank you! I'll be on estrogen for four weeks, and adding progesterone that final week, to help with healing. After that, we will hopefully be able to prep for an end-of-October FET with my shiny new ute. 😉

cali, birch113, I am supposed to be on the estrogen for 5 weeks starting progesterone on the 4th week. But I got my period today after 2.5 weeks on the estrogen. Is that supposed to happen?
birch113, glad to hear your surgery went well. I found the recovery to be a little easier than I was expecting.
cali, It's always hard to make decisions, but I always feel better when I feel like I'm doing something, ya know?
elephantmomma, Trying to time things right can be really stressful. I remember crying one night when DH went out drinking late with his buddies after his men's league golf instead of coming home to do it with me.
AmazingTulip we have a similar Ned protocol! I'll be on estrogen 4 weeks, adding progesterone that final week. From what my RE said, I shouldn't expect a period until after stopping estrogen and progesterone. Did you mention it to your doc?

I sent a note to the doc. With it being a Sunday I probably won't get an answer today so I'll call tomorrow.

Hi guys! I'm super late to the party... I've been crazy busy with life.
I'm glad everything went well birch113! cali how did testing go?
CALR: I made the appointment with the RE, had an anxiety attack, and then cancelled it. They sent me the price layout and I just can't handle it right now. It will be over $1,000 per cycle just for the letrozol/IUI cycle, and then it goes up from there. I hate that our insurance doesn't cover any of it. I think we might go back to the OB to discuss any other options we might have, and then also meet with some other RE offices to see if there are any differences. It just sucks. I hate the thought of spending so much money on a 20% chance (if even that). I've been struggling so much. I was looking forward to going to the RE for answers, but I don't know if my anxiety can handle it. So we are at a standstill again. yay.
NCALR: I've been doing projects around the house to keep my mind off of the other things. I've gained weight. So I re-started my healthy living plan today. So far so good. ALL THE SALADS! Also I love Fall. So I'm really happy that the weather is starting to turn.
