Toddler Sleep Sacks (cold weather sleeping)

I was wondering if anyone has any toddler sleep sack recommendations. LO is quite the mover and shaker in bed and doesn't stay under a blanket very well. We have her in jammies and a fleece halo sleep sack (size medium) now when it gets cold, but I know we will have more cold nights ahead of us so I am looking into what to get her for those nights.

When she was smaller we had the carters sleep sacks with the sleeves, but as far as I know, they don't make them in toddler sizes. Those of you that have used them, what are your favorite toddler sized sleep sacks, any of them have sleeves?

We do turn her heat on in her room, but it is not the most efficient so I like to dress her warmly as well.

I noticed halo makes toddler wearable blankets but they don't have a footie. You could have her wear cotton footie pjs and a halo fleece toddler sleep sack over those?

We did fleece footie pjs with a baby deedee sleep sack last year and is my plan again this year

We live in MI, so cold ass winters. DS used this one for 2 years. It's Baby DeeDee and I loved it. Highly recommend.

So are sleeves on bigger sleep sacks just not necessary?

Also, part of me is thinking I could just put a size bigger fleece jammies on the outside of a cotton pair.

Yep! It's basically a wearable comforter. DS could even walk in it as he got older. It's made well too so it held up great.

We just did cotton or fleece footie jammies with it (depending on how brutally cold it was) and his arms seemed fine. But the same brand (Baby DeeDee) makes something similar that has arms and legs if that's more up your alley.

Following this because I'm not sure what to do. A hasn't been in any sort of sleep sack since he was in a swaddle. And now he hates any covers on him so I feel like we're going to have to do fleece footies with a onesie underneath or something.

ETA: because I'm an idiot and completely forgot that A was sleeping in the zippadees. So never mind, I guess we'll be trying the fleece zippadees again...

We were doing the Halo sleep sacks last year (no sleeves). When it got super cold, we did fleece jammies, and would put a long sleeved onesie underneath, and he always seemed warm enough (brutal winters here, too).

It's funny, H and I were just mentioning how we'd need to figure out a game plan for winter at bedtime tonight. We're currently doing a long-sleeved onesie with the lighter, cotton Halo sleep sack, because we decided DS slept better not in footed pjs. So I've bought a couple long sleeved/regular pants pajama sets for winter so far. My game plan is those, fleece sleep sack, and maybe putting a blankie on once he's settled to sleep on super cold nights? He's also a little furnace, so I figure we'll find something that keeps him warm enough.

We still use the halo sleep sacks over her jammies. We had a fleece one last year for winter.

My oddball child walks just fine in one, though. Granted, it's only in her crib.

I've also heard good things about the zipadeezip. I haven't bought one yet, but it's on my list of things to check out for him.

We've only worn fleece footie jammies and no sleep sack for a long time now so I think if it his room gets cold I might have to go to a blanket. I have no idea what would happen if I tried to put him back in a sleep sack now, I'd be worried about him tripping.

He is in our bed so we really don't have to worry. But by chance we get him in his own bed like we are wanting since baby #2 on the way we will likely just use fleece pjs with a long sleeve onesie under. But it doesn't get too terribly cold here.

We had to go back to a sleep sack this summer for Texas Ranger. I'm loving these muslin footed sacks and would just use it over warm footed Jammie's in the winter if we were still up north.

Just popping in here to add to the suggestions. We used this last year. They only have a blue and pink option. But they are super warm and heavy. The fleece did not feel heavy enough to me. I bought two and rotated. A bit pricey but I just didn't think the regular fleece would be enough. I guess it would be like the one mentioned earlier in the thread

ETA I bought off bed bath and beyond and used a 20% off one item. I think that was the cheapest way I found to buy multiple.
