So. Yeah. It's snack time up in here. We are watching The Incredibles again. Lazy Sunday. SO will do a quick side job when M goes down for her nap. And then we'll go to the grocery store and make dinner.
SO has been trying all weekend to teach M to say, "Oh shit." She fell off the couch yesterday and I swear she said it. Ugh. Men. I'm going to be so pissed if she gets in trouble at DC!
C threw my phone in the toilet yesterday so it sat in a bag of rice until this morning. It survived!
We went up to a small mountain town yesterday and just hung out with the boys, it was fun. Today, we are packing and getting the house together for our vacation! Eek!
MH finally went back to work. So I'm kind of sad, but kind of glad to have my space back.
Re: toddler cursing. My mom taught k how to say "clock." My child cannot yet make the "l" sound. Anyone want to guess what my kid walks around saying?
Also, is anyone dealing with toy attachment yet? K has a stuffed animal that she will freak the fuck out about. She needs it at bedtime, needs it in the car. She puts it in the bassinet and tucks it in with blankets and periodically checks on it. We've straight up moved into sentient being territory over here. She rocks it. Granted it's adorable, but I thought it was early for this.
TheTuna15 M is attached to her Wubanubbs and a stuffed cat. Not quite to the extreme of K, though. If I hide them in her crib, she'll go about her day just fine. But if she spots them, she needs them right that second. If the cat comes out, she'll put it in her stroller and roll it around like a baby. They are a must for nap and bedtime.
TheTuna15 yes e has a cat she made my mom buy because tears when we put it back in the store. It goes everywhere with it and makes us kiss it at times.
I have been on the boardwalk in oc md. Hardly any signal down there. We saw hundreds of motorcycles come in down the boardwalk. They had a ceremony for 9/11 that the motorcycles stopped at.
The kids and I went to early church service, the grocery store, to buy a birthday present, to a birthday party and then home to see h. Then we all loaded back up to run to targ to get some prescriptions. Finally back home for the night.
Pop decided he is feeling good and wants us to go to the family reunion in two weeks. Meh. We can't say no. He'll be 80 in March and this could be the last time he ever sees his last living sister, his home town. Wah.
My poor bebe has a fever. Low this morning, but got cranky early so we dosed & early nap. It's only 5, but I just dosed and put her to bed. It was at 104, but she was out in the sun room which is extra warm. She didn't want anything to eat so I hope she's okay. If it's still high tomorrow, guess we'll call/head to the doc.
E has napped 30-45 mins all day and that was early this morning. She will crash soon. My dad has already planned that hb and i will go out in the afternoon/ evening tomorrow and they will take e to cracker barrel for dinner. He hasn't been to the one here so he has to mark it off on his map.
sjep922 Ha! I love it!! M also goes through the recycling. I was getting her bath ready the other night and she came waltzing into the bathroom with an empty beer bottle.
M is getting sick. Ugh. Her nose started to runneth over this afternoon. She's in bed and was starting to get frustrated with not being able to breathe. So we propped up her mattress and gave Tylenol. FX she's not a gigantic snot ball in the morning.
She also didn't want to eat food. She ate like a bird today. Sigh... Why you always sick, child?

malvo haha, P says "oh shit!" Welll...i like to think he ISNT saying that and is saying something wrong.
TheTuna15 P is so attached to his toy tigers. It drives me up the wall sometimes because he'll hold onto them for dear life while i try to change his clothes or get him buckled in the carseat. He always cries and cries because he cant drink his sippy cup of milk. Idk what to tell you, kid, put the fucking tigers down!
