This kid can eat. Geez. I can't even begin to build a supply.
I'm living the milk equivalent of the paycheck-to-paycheck life. Everyday I run out of pumped milk and have to use formula, that's like a cash advance.
Same here. I'm pumping, nursing, and supplementing and this girl still wants more. I am supposed to be weaning her off the formula, but I don't make enough milk to keep her happy.

Ladies with low supply need to up their water intake. Shoot for over 100 fluid ounces per day. That includes drinking at night during feeding sessions. Only when I started to store away water like a camel was I able to build a freezer stash.

Agree with trying this. I have two 32 ounce mugs from the hospital. I just keep them full all the time. One in the bedroom and one in the living room.
I had to get mad at H this weekend but he finally printed our address labels for our birth announcements so I can get them stuffed and stamped. Hip hip hooray. I also had to bitch to him about writing a freaking thank you note. It was a couples shower you can write some too. But hey being a grump worked they are done too.

My water intake is great, its eating I'm having trouble with.
It's 2pm here and all I've had is a bowl of Apple Jacks. Leilyn is sleeping while I'm pumping. I'm probably just going to crash after this. She's been up every hour since 11 last night.
Keep walking. You can't always tell if it's working.
Story time. I walked a lot around the mall when I was trying to progress. At one point, my contractions picked up so I kept walking while H took DD to the little play place. There was also an off duty fire fighter there with his daughter. H told me later that they were talking and the fire fighter said "she's in labor, isn't she?" H told him yes and he said "be careful. Don't make me deliver a baby on my day off."
I thought it was super funny. H said it was a lighthearted conversation.

Walked for the better part of two hours. Came home for a fruit and water break and to bounce on the yoga ball. No contractions with a beginning and end, just a menstrual cramp feeling. It stopped raining though, so I may take the dog for a walk instead of going back to Walmart later.
DH's grandmother told me that I'll go into labor on March 5 because there's a full moon that night.

I'm really scared about my glucose level. For 2 days in a row, my glucose spiked in the morning before I even had anything to eat. Back when I was pregnant, my fasting glucose was the solid one and I never had it out of range. It was the after meal numbers that I struggled with. Now it appears I've become prediabetic postpartum. After meals are fine though! My mum is diabetic, she told me to calm down first, maybe it's sleep related since I do the night shift. I hope she's right. I have my GTT coming up in a couple weeks' time.
On much better news, I nursed LO for 40mins. He fell asleep and is still good for half an hour. This is a record. This is giving me a bit of hope maybe I can revive breastfeeding and ditch the pump sometimes.

I'm sorry this is happening. I have no advice, but sending prayers your way.
I've spoiled this baby rotten. (Excuse my horrid appearance) She will only sleep like this tonight. Every time I move her, she cries. She won't even sleep on my chest. Its going to be one of those nights.
