Umm I am currently nursing DD in her room. Her room over looks he front of our house and there is a suspicious car in our parking area. It was first idling in front of a house a few doors down. Now it is parked on the other side of the parking area and has been there with people in it for at least 10 min. The driver got out and peed then got in the car on the passenger side.
I don't know if I should clean the non emergency police line or not.

On a different note tonight is night 2 of transitioning to the bassinet. H got really upset during his shift and as a result has gotten basically zero sleep. She is doing pretty well but took a bit of soothing, mostly just me touching her, to get her to sleep in the bassine. I expected several rough nights which is why I was doing it this week when his mom is here to let me nap during the day. But the fact that if her out hers down I get no sleep made H frustrated and picked her up and left the room. Now I am stuck between going back in there after nursing and putting her down or going down stairs and snuggling on the couch so H gets some sleep. Neither way will I get a lot of sleep.
I'm about to punch the crap out of DH and dismantle the freaking thermostat. What temperature do you keep your home since your LO arrived? My body temp has been running low since delivering. I'm freezing all the time which is quite the opposite of what I'm used to. I have tried to tell DH about the baby's need to be a bit warmer than we're used to, but It's like talking to a brick wall. I should also add that baby sleeps in our room in her swing that is in the direct path of the vent. (If she would sleep in her crib, it wouldn't be an issue because it's on the other side of the room.) I understand it's warmer than he's used to, but seriously?? Stop being so dramatic. He's currently sleeping on the couch throwing a hissy fit. Fine by me! I told him to take the fan so he could have a bit more circulation. Of course He refused. News flash bro, it's the same temperature in the living room as it is in the bedroom. Heaven forbid I try to tell him that. I also think he's trying to get out of getting up with the baby. Whatev dude. I'm about to starfish in this bed like a boss!
We keep it at 70 during the day and 68 at night and high H and I are sweating. We used to have it at 60 at night. Yeah it stinks but baby is number one right now. Sorry H is being pouty about it.

I won't let him put it lower than 72. We usually sleep with it low to mid 60s. I know it's a huge change ,but he's being such a brat about it. The baby and I are comfortable. I honestly wouldn't mind lowering it to 70 if the baby wasn't in the path of the vent...and he wasn't being such a jerk.

Sorry your husband is being bratty. Can you turn the vent around or partially close it so it blows in a different direction rather than right on LO? I've read some air circulation is good for possible SIDS reduction, but I doubt a direct path from a central heating vent is comfortable.

No, her swing is directly across from the vent. Once We get her sleeping in her crib, it won't be a problem. He just needs to suck it up and shut up.
A little part of me is getting sad that my body is seemingly getting used to that's 3 am wake ups and it doesn't feel like absolute torture. What is happening to me?
Oh and H and I were so exhausted last night and DD 's schedule was wacky heading into this evening that we went back to the RnP instead of using the bassinet again. Oh my she has slept so well tonight. Who knows if I regret it in the long run.

DS slept for 4.5 hours last night and freaked me out when he woke up. So not used to that and at just over 2 weeks seems a little early to be sleeping that long. But it was nice to get the sleep.

Hey, only the 3am wake up? Mine does every other hour, ugh. I don't even bother trying to sleep between 1-6am. Between dealing with a fussy baby and pumping, there's not enough time left for sleep.
I now have 5 ounces of BM in the fridge for feeding LO once he wakes up. Still going to make him nurse a bit. I now need to buy breast shields to deal with leaky boobs while nursing. Pumping has made my boobs used to producing at the same time and I don't want to waste that milk. I've been sticking an empty bottle under then unused boob to catch the drips. Every milliliter counts.
