I know, we've been down this road before. But, I am unhappy with our sippy cups. We have various issues with a variety of sippy cups. We can't seem to find one that she likes and that doesn't spill.
Her preference is soft spouts. That's my only requirement.
malvo we have the soft spout ones ajacot924 showed with and without handles. They are cheap and as long as the silicone spout is secured properly, doesn't leak. EXCEPT when littles figure out they can tip it upside down and press the nipple part in, then it leaks. We also have these:
Which are great for water and such but have a super slow leak.
Also, I just saw these and thought they looked neat! Not sure about leak though. And there is a straw version:
Oh, good. My child isn't the only one with a preference! DC gives her milk in a hard spout and she drinks very little. I wish I could talk them into giving her a soft spout from home, but don't want to be "that mom."
rvamama and ajacot924 Do you have any details on the sippy you both use? Brand or anything?

The brand is nuby.
F only drinks her milk warm. Almond milk (slightly sweet). D was the same way and still doesn't like cold milk much. I provided DC her soft spout cups and just got them back, they don't do warm milk in her new class (transition to 2 year old class, say what?!) I am interested to see how she does, I also told them if she drinks regular milk for them then that's great and I'll do the same at home.

malvo It's a Nuby. I like them because they're cheap! I would ask. I send them to DC with O for the same reason. They already think I'm crazy after I was so intense about them working with her on her motor skills back in the day. So I figure I might as well go all in.
rvamama SO has insisted we stop warming M's milk. She had two sippy cups that weren't warmed today. She basically held onto them until they were at a proper temperature and then drank the milk. I am a bit excited about putting the warmer away, but also just want her to drink the milk and get on with life.
ajacot924 Ha! I might mention the soft spout cup in passing and see what her teacher says. She already has her own special milk (Lactaid), so why not throw a sippy in the mix?!

We use the Nuby active cup and trainer cup - both with a soft spout. If he flips it over and smashes on the spout, it will leak, but otherwise it works well.
As for the warming/room temperature thing, I'm lucky if I can even pour the gallon of milk into a cup before he's grabbing it to chug. I really need to just buy a cow.
