Decided to start a carseat spreadsheet, i am horrible at this. I wish i had paid more attention to threads earlier and gotten a clue before now. I am always running a day late and a $short.
Husband is home by himself with the kids today. He told me last night that he's exhausted and isn't looking forward to solo patenting. Oh really? Because I've been doing that for the past week. Suck it up, buttercup.
packmomma, is the head banging intentional? N does it when he doesn't get his way. Dd did it only when i was leaving with sitter.
Oh no he's not actually banging his head. He just seems to always trip when it's dangerous (i.e. throwing his head into things). He ran all around her house and never fell near the soft couch but the moment he got within falling distance to this one end table he fell 3 times right into it cutting his forhead in multiple places. When he doesn't get his way he either bites, hits, or screams. Not a fun kid when told no. Tl: dr it was a figure of speech because I know he's not falling on purpose but I don't know how he only does it when it's dangerous.

Mey. We had our budget and just picked one off of that. All car seats need to pass the same safety testing. Cost seems to impact the weight recommendations and the bells and whistles. And a cup holder.
We paid a million dollars for DS1's Britax for my car and picked up a cheap one for DH's car. Guess which one he preferred?

My back feels a little better today. Massage is at 1pm. Can. Not. Wait.
And I cracked my iPhone screen. It's in like a super can't break the phone case. All I did was have it in my back packet when I sat down. DH is looking at the warranty now.
mommabakes You are not being a selfish jerk about this wedding stuff. I'm sorry you were so hurt by your mom's choices and I'm sorry that your brother's wedding has dragged all that back up. Hugs to you. I hope your wedding day felt really special in other ways.
Give me all that cabinet and counter space back!!!!!
In all honesty, even more than the crappy sleep, going back to bottles was my least favorite part of having a newborn again. I felt like I was counting down to her first birthday every night doing dishes just because I knew it would mean the end of bottles.
I picked based on sales I found. Very happy with my choice, but I'm pretty certain I use the one you said you don't want to use. I've been using it since January and have zero complaints.
ETA: I thought I was posting this in the car seat thread.

I'm almost there! M hasn't been wanting his night time bottle for almost a week. I can't wait to clean off the damn counter! FFTC I just put away the sanitizer yesterday. I had only stopped sanitizing the bottles last month. It was such an grained routine, that I loathed, but kept doing it. Lol!

Thanks, guys. My recovery has been going well actually. I'm still at my in laws, they are so dedicated to getting me better, I swear they are saints. I've "graduated" to personal training instead of physical therapy, I still go 3 times a week. I'm off of my walker, and my walking is slow and a bit labored, but I know that will get better with time. I can carry Jack again, that was a huge milestone for me. This disease is known to taking forever to recover, but I think I'm doing pretty well for 5.5 months.
