DS and I spent the morning running errands and now we're snuggling on the couch, watching The Price is Right. I'm already looking forward to dinner. I'm making a creamy corn chowder.
Mmhh.. baking. I need to get the crock-pot started this morning. I wonder if I have the ingredients to make English muffin bread.. that sounds ridiculously tasty today.
Poor Alexandria has a horrid rash on her poor bum If it isn't better by tomorrow, its bad enough that I'm going to take her to the doctor. One bad reaction to something and she is in misery at every diaper change. Blah

Try using wet wash clothes instead of wipes. Clara has super sensitive skin. We have done all the things to help
Ooh, good point. meggypoo1, Alex's twin had a year of gluten intolerance (wow did I learn a lot about Celiac's that year.. I feel so bad for people who have it, but lots of options are coming out). The diaper rashes were terrible >< I forgot that even the sensitive skin wipes dry them out

Yikes. That doesn't sound fun. Also, don't even wipe for pee if you do. Just poop. What mixture of cream are you using? Oh and obviously go to the doctor still if you think it's a food reaction -- just try to help in the meantime!
I feel like a new woman today! We're going grocery shopping in a bit but since I'm actually hungry today I got DS and I Panda express. It's really hitting the spot.
I've decided I have to have potato skins in my life and now I can't find a restaurant near me that serves them, what kind of world is this? It's legitimately all I can think about eating right now
Do you have a dairy queen? They sell them I think...

OMG, when I was pregnant with Clara we would go to this bar to watch football and I had no idea what I wanted to eat and then finally decided on potato skins. They were fucking amazing. Like the best. So the next week I was like I need them again and more so MH and I were each going to get an order. We get there and they fucking changed their menu! I so so pissed and sad. I am still mad about it. Clearly I need a life.
Another headache, so I'm working from home today. Watching teen mom in the background! I'm loving working in my pj's with the company of my pup!
Some days you will feel like a bad mom. Then you can watch that show. Not necessarily saying they are bad moms, but you will have so many more resources. I could not do this at 16. Hell, at 32 I still have doubts.

MIL told me SIL thinks my OB is going to put me on bed rest at some point. She works directly with my OB so her opinion actually holds some weight. This is going to be interesting since I run a business, Dh works 24 hour shifts and we have a 2 year old.
erinshelley21 oh man, well maybe it's good to have in the back of your mind so you can have some kind of game plan. Any chance a parent could move in with you to help if it comes to that?
erinshelley21, I agree with Mosdub. Coming up with some sort of game plan, having activities thought up, where you could set up camp, what to do about meal prep.. etc. I got tossed onto bed rest at 16 weeks.. at 24 they wheeled me from my doctor's office to the hospital in a wheelchair and didn't let me go. I SHOULD Have been prepared.. it was so easy to see it coming.. but nope ><
erinshelley21 I hope it doesn't come to that! +1 to what mosdub said. Or maybe your H could have his shifts changed, and you guys could get a sitter for when he isn't home?

mosdub mil is 5 minutes away and more than willing to keep ds on nights Dh works. She would even come here, hang out and feed me dinner then take him home I bet. My mom would stay weekends that Dh had to work. All of our siblings are local and always willing to take ds for a while. glb30 Dh is a firefighter, so 24 hour shifts are the only option. He 3 out of 5 days then has 4 straight days off, so he really isn't gone a whole lot.
Those of you who love Qdoba, what do you suggest to eat there? I've only been once but I got a coupon for my bday month and will likely stop in soon.
My parents gave me a $100 gift card to Motherhood Maternity for my bday, so I went and bought all new jeans today b/c I found out my jeans from DD are WAY too big (even when I imagine a 9 month belly in them). That was a good feeling! I'm starting out about 10lbs lighter than I was with DD (thanks, 21 day fix!), so fingers crossed I end up still weighing less come March.

kaits8 you really can't go wrong but some of my faves are a naked queso burrito or taco salad (w/o the shell) with their hot salsa(I forget what it's called, it's the red one that looks like thin salsa). Real burritos are good but I don't find the tortilla to be worth the calories and they are messy.
They have this new taco menu that is pretty good. I forget which one I got but it has a hard tortilla inside being stuck to the soft tortilla with cheese.
